Oh, my gosh, girl, you must be devastated. Murray is so lucky to have you. He's never had anybody to care about him the way you do.
I believe that sometimes animals pick humans with whom to spend their final days. He could rally, but if he doesn't, it's possible that he just needed you to give him unconditional love and attention so that he can make this transition. I think that some of the animals are "old souls," and are here to help us become PhDs in the school of life. When we see them persevere under impossible situations, it melts our hearts and we can't help but see the spirit inside of them. They are really here to inspire us and make us the best we can be.
I will keep Murray and you in my heart and prayers. Please keep us posted. My heart goes out to you. Hang in there; we love you.
Best,
Andrea

Hi -
We didn't get very good news today about Murray. They did an ultra
sound and many other tests. He has cancer, a large tumor obstucting
his intestines and bowels, plus it has gone into the lymph nodes even
if they did remove the tumor. Making it even worse are the tumors in
his lung, there are three the specialist could see, and in that case
there are more he cannot see.. We are waiting on the blood panels and
the biopsy results before we make any decisions, but his prognosis is
poor.
He is still drinking water, that's good, but barely eating, and then
only some cheese, eggs, turkey or roast beef. It may be only a matter
of days....if that. I am so sad, I cannot even begin to tell you. I
never dreamed I would have less than a year with Murray when we got
him.
