Actors/Friends/Family needed to portray patients in medical school
communication and physical diagnosis simulations. Come help train our
future doctors!



Hours: Some Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. You do not need
to be available for all afternoons as we have a wide variety of cases and
'patients'. Work is part-time as needed on a case-by-case basis.



Pay: $20 per hour. You will be paid as an independent
contractor.



Location: Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine on Cleveland
Clinic main campus near University Circle. Parking is validated.



Type: All aged 18 and above are welcome.



Experience: Acting or teaching/training experience preferred but not
necessary. You must be able to memorize well and be proficient in English.



Dress: You may wear your own clothing during Communication
Skills simulations in which no physical examination takes place.



You must wear a hospital gown during Physical
Diagnosis simulations in which physical examinations take place. Our new
fully covering front-closure snap gown is provided and you may wear your own
sports clothing underneath.



You are welcome to be considered for both types of
simulations or if you prefer one type, please let us know.



Training: A paid two-hour training is required for all
Communication Skills simulations. Timing may vary, but it is usually
scheduled on Tuesday or Wednesday during the week before the simulation.
