Dear Filmmakers,



Amazon.com asked us to let you know about a film contest that they're is
running, and to see if you might be interested in promoting it to your
membership base. Entrants in the Your Amazon Ad Contest will compete for
the chance to win two $10,000 Amazon.com Gift Cards and a screening at the
15th Annual Gen Art Film Festival in New York City.



Here is a basic summary:

* Between 6/8 and 7/17: You'll submit a 30-second video of a TV
commercial for Amazon.
* Between 7/18 and 8/24: Our judging panel will select five finalists,
and also pick one of them as the Jury Prize winner.
* Between 8/24 and 9/6: Millions of Amazon customers will be invited
to watch and rate the five finalists' films. The filmmaker who submits the
ad with the highest average rating from all the eligible votes will receive
the Audience Prize.
* On 9/21: They'll announce the winners of the Jury Prize and Audience
Prize, and each will receive a $10,000 Amazon.com Gift Card and a screening
of their ad at the 15th <http://genart.org/film> Annual Gen Art Film
Festival in New York City. If the same person wins both prizes, he or she
will receive two $10,000 Amazon.com Gift Cards, worth a total of $20,000, as
well as the film festival screening.

Submissions will be judged based on creativity, overall appeal and the
likelihood of making viewers want to shop with Amazon. The basic
requirements are that the video be less than 30 seconds in length and
smaller than 100MB. Additionally, you must be a US resident to enter this
contest.
