FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LAKESHORE RECORDS TO RELEASE SOUNDTRACK FOR SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL WINNER SIN NOMBRE

Soundtrack Contains Original Score By Marcelo Zarvos

(March 10, 2009- Los Angeles, CA) – Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack for SIN NOMBRE, available digitally (iTunes and Amazon Digital) on March 17th and in stores on March 24, 2009.  Marcelo Zarvos (The Good Shepherd, Hollywoodland) composed the score.  SIN NOMBRE won the U.S. Dramatic Directing Award and the U.S. Dramatic Excellence in Cinematography Award at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival.

Composer Marcelo Zarvos was named one of the "25 New Faces of Indie Film 2004" by Filmmaker magazine.  His movie scores include Hollywoodland, The Door in the Floor, The Good Shepard (which he co-composed with Bruce Fowler), Strangers With Candy and Kissing Jessica Stein.

Zarvos’ dance scores include “Aquatica” (for Pilobolus), “Divinities” (for Cleo Parker Robinson Dance) and “The Path,” the latter two were presented at NYC’s Joyce Theater.  His chamber music compositions include “Nepomuk’s Dances” (performed at Lincoln Center and the Library of Congress), “Changes” for wind quintet and piano, and an NEA commission presented by the string quartet Ethel in the fall of 2006.  The Brazilian born pianist and composer has released three albums as a recording artist.

Making its world premiere at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, SIN NOMBRE is an epic dramatic thriller from award-winning director Cary Fukunaga.  Seeking the promise of America, a beautiful young Honduran woman, Sayra (Paulina Gaytan), joins her father and uncle on an odyssey to cross the gauntlet of the Latin American countryside en route to the United States.

Along the way she crosses paths with a teenaged Mexican gang member, El Casper (Edgar M. Flores), who is maneuvering to outrun his violent past and elude his unforgiving former associates.   Together they must rely on faith, trust and street smarts if they are to survive their increasingly perilous journey towards the hope of new lives.

Focus Features presents SIN NOMBRE released in select theaters on March 20, 2009.  SIN NOMBRE original soundtrack on Lakeshore Records will be available via iTunes and Amazon Digital on March 17th and in stores on March 24, 2009.

I have written a novel for all Cinema Underground Cinephiles. Dark Windows is a
work of fiction: A conspiracy thriller, an examination of the place of cinema in
the 21st century, the story of a man's struggle with reality and history.
Jean-Luc Godard, Luis Bunuel etc. all make appearances as the main character
confuses reality with cinema and his world cracks apart.

Dark Windows is available at a not-for-profit low price for a limited period.

I have noticed that the gap between closed shot cinema and open shot cinema is widening and a stream of experimental and abstract film festivals are beginning to establish themselves over the years to have what seems a fairly grounded following annually. I have done my best to source as many as possible on snuffboxfilms but am interested if people know of others going on and even better, really underground screenings - the kind like Flixation where you imagine people gathered in a tin shack slugging down moonshine.

Rups :)

Oscar 2009 was a big success and the awards went to the best. Slumdog
Millionaire is a great movie: it has pathos, it has freshness, it
teems with truth and authentic life. It is an amazing portrait of
today's India, a poor country becoming one of the top players in the
global economy. It is the Rebirth of a Nation: I am not afraid to
remind the names of Griffith and Eisenstein in the context of this
movie. Well, the difference here is that the rebirth of the nation is
done through individuals acting on their own: millions of individuals
struggling with extreme poverty, with corruption, with criminality,
with a police that is brutal while stupid, finding support only in
themselves, in their ambition and stamina, in their power to believe
in ideals. I said Griffith and Eisenstein; I am thinking also at two
great Brazilian directors, Salles and especially Meirelles (no wonder,
as Brazil is another poor country becoming a top player in the global
economy).

Kate Winslet won the award for the best leading actress: she was
phenomenal in The Reader: to show so convincingly all the
contradictory faces of the character of Hanna Schmitz, while remaining
always the same persona!

Sean Penn won the award for the best leading actor; I think I should
talk more about Milk, a very courageous movie, fighting with our
prejudices and making a great point for a society that recognizes the
right of each human being to live in dignity.

Was Ozu an artist or a craftsman? The question seems weird; it has a
point. It's like with Vivaldi: did he compose 300 concertos, or one
concerto 300 times?

Let's take only the Noriko Trilogy. Are there three movies, or is
there only one, crafted three times with slight variations? So the
question is: did Ozu create 58 movies, or only one for 58 times? As
his first films are now lost (no more originals, no more copies,
nothing), you could find here a reason :) Just kidding.

The answer is that Ozu was interested in certain aspects of the
Japanese cultural space, he was exploring ways to express these
aspects in the movie art and he aimed to improve them continuously.

With each new movie the setting becomes more precise, the position of
the camera becomes more precise, the faces of the actors become closer
to the archetypal.

And the story becomes more and more elliptic. Any non-essential
accessory disappears. With any new film, Ozu is more and more
minimalistic.

Let's take Tôkyô monogatari. The old parents are getting ready for the
trip to Tokyo and tell a neighbor who's passing by the window that
they will meet one of their sons at Osaka.

Their stop at Osaka is not in the movie; their railroad trip neither:
they are not necessary in the economy of the story, while the
preparations of their son from Tokyo to bring them home and the
reaction of his kids are shown: they are essential and they carry
somehow the ellipses (the parallel events from Osaka and from the
railroad trip).

When they come back from Tokyo, the parents have to stop at Osaka for
a few days, as the mother is ill. The movie shows only their son,
complaining at office of his troubles with the old guys. Again, his
complain carries somehow the ellipses (mother getting ill, their
unexpected stop at Osaka).

The old guys come back at home and mother collapses. The movie shows
only the son from Tokyo getting the news and his discussion with the
sister, her proposal to go both to their parents, and to take also
with them the mourning dresses just in case.

So nothing is useless in the story; the economy is total; Ozu has
ruthlessly cut anything non-essential.

Yasujiro Ozu: born in 1903; never got married; stayed with his aging
mother who was taking care of him; started to work in the cinema
industry in the twenties; his first movie was made in 1927 (Zange no
yaiba - Sword of Penitence); worked from the beginning with
screenwriter Kôgo Nada; they developed a great friendship, and enjoyed
working days and nights, with whiskey bottles near them; the stock of
empty bottles was keeping on growying; Ozu enjoyed definitely
drinking, because he enjoyed life; he could be convinced to make his
first sound movie only in 1936 (Hitory musuko - The Only Son); he was
terribly conservative in his tastes, and stubborn; war came, and he
was called for the military, to make propaganda films; he was a POW
for half an year, in 1945; his first post-war movie was made in 1947
(Nagaya shinshiroku - The Record of a Tenement Gentleman); then there
were his great movies; however, one should not forget his masterpieces
from the thirties; I watched the silent Ukikusa monogatari - A Story
of Floating Weeds; you can compare it with the remake (Ukigusa -
Floating Weeds, made in 1959); the movie from 1934 is astonishing; he
could be convinced to make color films only at the end; his first
color was Higanbana - Equinox Flower, in 1958; it is said that Setsuko
Hara was his great love; I wish it was true: this woman, so beautiful,
and so good-hearted, and him, full of life, bon-viveur, stubborn and
nice; fifty four movies directed by him: the last one (Sanma no Aji -
An Autumn Afternoon) was made in 1962 ; Ozu went to the hospital in
1963, a cancer that evolved rapidly; he died on the very day of his
60th anniversary; when his friends came to see him at the hospital, to
bring gifts to him, he was already dead; Setsuko Hara did not attend
his funeral; on his tombstone only one hieroglyph, MU, it means void.

Paul Schrader considers three levels to be studied in Ozu's films:

    1. Personal level
    2. Zen level
    3. Transcendental level

It means: the influence of his life in his movies; the influence of
the Japanese cultural space (with its essential Zen dimension) ; the
influence of everything that's beyond the Japanese; when we speak
about the Transcendental level , it's about what is common in all
various civilizational approaches (what is similar in the movies of
Ozu, Bresson, Dreyer).

Let's talk now about the personal level. How important is the
influence of the life of Ozu in his movies?

Schrader says it's minimal. IMHO, I would say rather, yes and no.

Yes, the influence of his life on his movies is minimal, because Ozu
does not speak ever about himself, does not perform self-analysis. His
discretion is Mozartian, Chekhovian.

No, because the man lived all his life unmarried, remained together
with his aging mother: and all his movies are about families and about
generational gap within families.

After watching several of his movies, we get the feeling that Ozu is
there, among his personages. We do not see him (as we see Hitchcock in
his famous cameos), however we know he's there: in those small
Japanese bars from the periphery, drinking sake and joking with the
other patrons, knowing each other for ages; in that small station in
Kamakura, looking with appetite at the railroad tracks, waiting for
the train, getting in with the others, staying inside the car with a
book in his hands, only not reading it, rather observing the others;
at the Noh theatre, watching the actors with amazement and imagining
each attendant as a player in the performance; in the houses, watching
what the family members are talking about, not interfering, because
he's too discreet, while also too curious.

Does this mean that his life is in his movies? Rather, his movies are
his life.

First of all, Ozu was targeting a very different audience. His system
of values was very straight, very traditional; his stories were kind
of morality tales: you shouldn't behave badly with your parents; you
shouldn't remain unmarried; you shouldn't have affairs; you shouldn't
divorce.

Ozu was making popular movies and enjoyed during all his life a huge
success of public. The admiration of critics came later, and remained
constant, while the public would forget him in the end, as new movies
along with TV series were appearing and the memory of the fifties were
fading.

Only critics remained constant in their admiration, as they discovered
more and more everything that was behind the simple stories.

First of all, there is life, full life in his stories. Yes, the father
convinces his daughter to get married and he remains alone (Late
Spring); actually he is reluctant to do it, as he fears to remain
alone, so the auntie has to push him endlessly; yes, the daughter
wants to remain unmarried to take care of his aging father; actually
how much is there love and how much the fear of change?

Well, but if we speak about life, with all its complexities, then this
is not a difference with the stories of Chekhov :)

The main difference resides in style. I don't mean the simplicity of
the stories, targeting a popular audience, I mean the subtlety of the
structure on which the story is built. This structure is very
different at Ozu. He is the most Japanese of the Japanese film directors.

Hologlyphics

Hologlyphics is the art of performing true 3D animations SEEN WITHOUT
GLASSES along with with music. It combines elements of holography,
music, video synthesis, visionary film, electronic music, sculpture
and improvisation to create a unique new artform. Emphasis is focused
on exploration of new, previously unseen 3D animations, patterns,
scenes and glyphs, not on photorealistic imagery.

These spatial visuals are seen in full 3D without glasses. Although
not the same technical process as holography, the visual result is the
same, a True 3D image with full horizontal parallax. Horizontal
parallax allows you not only to see the animation in 3D, but to see
all views of the animation scene within a 90 degree viewing range. As
you walk left to right, the perspective of the image changes as in the
real world.

The Hologlyphic Funkalizer is a performance based Analog/Digital video
synthesis system, that displays moving true 3D images, intertwined
with music and spatial sound. Visuals and sounds are controlled by
musical keyboards, acoustic instruments, sound sculptures and a unique
control panel. Sounds can be associated and interact with images,
modulate each other and undergo vast spatial transformations in the
aural and visual
realm.

Ozu calls into mind, firstly, Chekhov. Then (and I could be wrong
maybe), Hopper: in the sense that Ozu followed with love, and
sensibility, and patience, and discretion a universe where dramas are
as terrible as anywhere, only here they are hidden.

Yes, Hopper could be a term of comparison: his personages hide
something, you feel some tension, you cannot see it, as Hopper is as
discreet as Ozu can be.

Well, there are some paintings by Hopper where the tension is obvious
(though, as I said, hidden). Think at his Nighthawks.

There are other works of Hopper where I cannot guess the tension at
all: look at this Chop Suey for instance. Two women sitting at a table
by the window. The sign outside: a Chinese restaurant in Manhattan.

And I realized that Hopper was in love for a universe that he painted
tens of times. The tension was emerging now and then, but he was
waiting for the drama to come, while he was keeping on in fidelity and
patience, day by day.

The same with Ozu. Not all his movies are as famous as his Noriko
Trilogy, but that small bar from Banshun is in all his movies: men
come to have a couple of drinks, the bartender knows them all, and
after watching some of Ozu's movies you start to feel that the bar
became very familiar for you, too, that you are there, perhaps at the
third drink, and one of the other patrons is teasing you gently.

New book release: "ANDREI TARKOVSKY ABOUT HIS FILM ART"

Frost publishing just released a new book titled "Andrei Tarkovsky about His Film Art. In His Own Words".

In March of 1984, I organized a film seminar in College Glienicke, West Berlin and invited Andrei Tarkovsky as guest lecturer.

For seven days he laid out, day by day his film theory, his philosophy, opinions and principles. I was his interpreter and the book is based on my translation of Tarkovsky's conversations in College Glienicke. During the conversations Andrei Tarkovsky created several drawings, which illustrate his thoughts. He presented these drawings to me as a gift.

After this seminar in the summer of 1984, Tarkovsky wrote the manuscript "Sculpturing in Time", which was published in German by Ullstein, Berlin in early 1985. I kept my archives unpublished until the book "Sculpturing in Time" was distributed worldwide. In 2005 I began to work on my archives and discovered that many subjects of our conversations were not included in his book.

I hope that "Andrei Tarkovsky about His Film Art" will provide additional & new information about this great film-maker and his films. You can find more information about this book on www.frostpublishing.net

There is a video on youTube
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rv5YCrFwWE4) that takes a scene from
Gaav and replaces the dialog with a fake one. You could say that it
looks funny while the movie is too tragic to make fun of it; but this
video is emphasizing a political level in a movie with so many levels
of understanding.

And it is a political level in Gaav, no doubt about it: think only
about the menacing apparitions of the robbers from the neighboring
village, and the revenge incursions: they are the robbers, we are only
protecting our assets and lives; it sound very Mid East indeed.

Dariush Mehrjui returned to Iran after studying philosophy at UCLA and
started to make movies. It was in the sixties, Iran was under Shah's
regime, and Mehrjui was one of the guys from the westernized elite. So
you could expect from him movies within some American standards.

Well, Gaav, made by Mehrjui in 1969, is very far from any American
artistic frame. You could think at Italian Neorealism and French
Avant-Garde. I would rather say Pasolini: Gaav calls Pasolini's works
in mind. However, beyond any comparison, for a Westernized viewer the
subject is so Iranian specific that the typical reaction would be
stupor. And to say Iranian specific is actually misleading! A remote
primitive village where a symbolic story takes place. Gaav has the
structure of a ballade. Think at Parajanov! It is made with extreme
simplicity and economy: things happen just because that's the way they
should happen, reasonable explanations are useless.

No wonder Gaav was banned immediately by Shah's censors: how to allow
a movie about an Iranian village so far from modernity? The movie was
smuggled in 1972 and presented at Venice at the Mostra. Without
subtitles. No need of them, anyway: the images, and that unique rhythm
as of a ballade were speaking for themselves.

Mehrjui went on making movies. He left later Iran, for France, he made
movies there. And after some years he came back to Iran, for
homesickness. He's been going on with making movies ever since.

They say Ayatollah Komeini renounced to ban movies in Iran after
watching Gaav - I don't know whether it's true, but, if it is, it
means that the Ayatollah had a great taste! Because it's much easier
to be revolted by the movie! The subject is as simple as it can be:
there is a village, poor and primitive, Hassan is the only one
possessing a cow in the village, the cow dies, Hassan gets mentally
insane.

Is Hassan mad? Well, obviously. A man who believes that he is no more
himself, but his cow, that's madness on all accounts.

Madness? Hassan was living in his own universe ignoring the real
world. But here's the point: Hassan had always lived in his own
universe - he and his cow. A whole system of memories: events lived
together. Natural phenomenons lived together and having a particular
significance for them: a whole system of codes and signals. Was it
full moon? It meant the cow was thirsty.

This universe could not disappear once the cow was no more. The
memories were still in place. The codes and signals were still in
place. Was it full moon? It meant the cow was still thirsty.

So Hassan was just defending now this universe of him; only his
universe was no more fit with the world. Hence, the madness.

Usually, when the beloved one is no more, the survivor is tempted to
imagine that the other is still somewhere, not far. You go to the
cemetery and speak to your beloved one, who is buried there. Hassan
was trying something more forceful: to imagine that he, Hassan was
somewhere, not far, and that the cow was here, in his body, instead of
him! I know how it sounds, but it was Hassan's way to keep his universe.

Meanwhile life was going on in this village. A bunch of clay houses
surrounding a small dirty pool. Old men chatting at some kind of a tea
house, old women attending silently the daily events and waiting for
the outcome, the village idiot tortured by kids for mere distraction,
the nightly incursions of neighboring villagers: just a small closed
universe around a small dirty pond.

Faced with the sudden madness of Hassan, the community comes to help,
with great kindness and patience, to discover that help is sometimes
useless and that kindness and patience ultimately have limits.

A tragic ballade telling us that some things happen just because
that's their way to happen and nobody could change anything.

Amazon and eBay show only a region 2 DVD, as you may already be aware.
That was the extent of my research, so I don't know if there are plans
for a region 1 (or "all region") release. Maybe Criterion will
eventually step up to the plate...

I saw the movie, The Reader, in one of the last days of 2008.

It seemed to me a bit spoiled. The same director (Stephen Daldry) who
had made The Hours, based on Michael Cunningham's novel. That movie
was well made (inferior to the book, though).

Here, in The Reader, something was kind of missing. Hardly to say what.

Two extraordinary actors. Kate Winslet as Hanna: she found the perfect
key for such a difficult role. It is an extraordinary achievement to
render the same personage, behaving each time the same, each time on a
totally different plan.

Each plan is made perfectly credible by Kate Winslet, while she
remains always the same Hanna.

Then the kid, the fifteen years old boy. A young German actor (David
Kross), who played superbly his erotic awakening, a male who's more
and more proud and sure of himself, while remaining actually a kid.
Just amazing, how this young actor could maintain the duo with Kate
Winslet without being overwhelmed by her.

Ralph Fiennes did not convince me, to be honest. Maybe I'm wrong, I
would understand his creation better at a second watch.

Immediately I started to look for the book, Der Vorleser, by Bernhard
Schlink. I found it the same evening and I didn't leave it from hands
up to the last page. I read it again, after that: as I didn't want to
leave the story from myself.

What makes it so impressive, this novel? It's presented as largely
autobiographic, and it is really written with passion, as the author
wanted to get finally free of his obsessions. Of course, it is
impossible to get the real autobiographical elements, and, after all,
once a book is written it becomes a fiction: it is about its own
universe, different from the universe of the author.

What is this book about? Is it mainly about Hanna, the woman who had
become an SS criminal because she was trying to cover her illiteracy?

Well, no. It is mainly about him, about The Reader, Der Vorleser (the
German language is here more exact: The One Who Reads Aloud, more
precisely The One Who Reads Aloud To Be Listened). He is the main
character, the book is about his reactions toward Hanna. It is about
him discovering through Hanna his erotic awakening, then about him
discovering the secret of Hanna (her illiteracy), and so, through
Hanna, discovering the banality of evil.

Let's make here a short break: it is a book about the problematic of
the Holocaust; what makes it original is maybe not the fact that Hanna
is not a victim but a perpetrator; what makes it a great book is that
it speaks forcefully about the banality of evil. Hanna did not commit
her crimes because she was hating Jews, or because she was believing
in any of Nazi ideas; she was simply trying to cover her illiteracy
and any other aspect was unimportant for her. As simple as that!

But this is not the only greatness. There is another one,
overwhelming: his coming to terms with Hanna.

You see, a complex of love/hate/guilt is crossing the whole story,
from the beginning to the end. He loves Hanna, he hates her, as he is
horrified by the evil. So love/hate, while the guilt, I mean his
guilt, is ever present. At the beginning an unclear Freudian complex,
at the trial the guilt that he loves a criminal, in the end the guilt
that he cannot stand firmly on her side!

The solution the hero finds in himself, to read aloud book after book
and to send the cassettes to the prison, to be listened there by
Hanna, this is really overwhelming: someone could be a horrible
criminal, but she or he remains a human being and keeps always the
right for human dignity. Someone could be a horrible criminal but she
or he remains a human being, and a human being is fragile; so she or
he always needs someone else to protect this fragility.

Greetings:
A happy, healthy, prosperous and entertaining New Year to all of our
CinemaSirens
customers and fans. We'd like to take a moment to thank you all for your support
and
encouragement as we begin our 11th year online and delve deeper into the vaults
for
those lost and forgotten films you come here to rediscover. That said, let's
begin our
update by offering a film somewhat lambasted when it first came out, but stars
two of our
favorite foreign femmes from days gone by:

French pastry BRIGITTE BARDOT heralds the new year as she appears in the
appropriately
titled THE LEGEND OF FRENCHIE KING alongside Italian bombshell CLAUDIA
CARDINALE.
This may not exactly be the height of their cinematic careers, but how can you
resist a
movie that pairs these two tasty temptresses as rivals?

Possibly one of the most underrated actresses ever to literally give her all
onscreen is
ebony goddess PAM GRIER. Mired mostly in low budget exploitation films at the
beginning
of her career, she finally had the opportunity to appear in a big budget
Hollywood film
hoping to crossover into mainstream. Unfortunately that picture was DRUM, the
trashy
followup to the equally trashy MANDINGO, and she was reduced to a small role and
the
usual nude scenes demanded of her. Nevertheless, we have unearthed it for your
viewing
pleasure because not only is she in it, but it also features ISELA VEGA, FIONA
LEWIS and
bad girl RAINBEAUX SMITH in equally revealing roles.

And last but certainly not least is sixties icon PAMELA TIFFIN. Sadly, she made
some bad
career choices during the seventies, and going to Italy to appear in a series of
bad movies
pushed her out of the public eye and into only the memories of her ardent fans.
IL
VICHINGO VENUTO DAL SUD (American title:THE VIKING WHO CAME IN FROM THE SOUTH)
is a very offbeat comedy and though it really wastes her talents, it still gives
us the chance
to experience her surreal beauty and timeless charm, along with the fact that
she exposes
more flesh here than on display in any of her Stateside roles.

Also, as always, we have posted some great still photos of this month's stars
in our
updated GALLERY so check it out. Lots of good stuff still to come in the year
ahead so
don't be a stranger to www.cinemasirens.com and thanks once again for the
continued
worldwide enthusiasm and support. We must be doing something right!

Gus Van Sant is one of the most radical directors among the great
names of today's movie world. His Gerry and Elephant are masterpieces.
And Paranoid Park is the movie that made me understand better his
filming approach: he is not an observer; he is immersing into the
world of his heroes, to be there, to live there, to feel what they
feel, to take the picture from the center of the circle.

He gave to Newsweek his top of five most important movies. It is a
list as radical as his philosophy of creating a movie. His top
contains movies from 1927 to 2009:

    1. Sátántangó (Satan's Tango, Béla Tarr, 1994): he likes Béla
Tarr's directorial style, retracing time in each of its sections—yet
it's linear.
    2. Sunrise (F. W. Murnau, 1927): it shows the opulence of Hollywood
in the 1920s; there was a style of creating elaborate sets that cannot
be seen any longer.
    3. The Last of England (Derek Jarman, 1988): the structure becomes
visual, rather than relying on a verbal explanation.
    4. The Palm Beach Story (Preston Sturges, 1942): it's wild, and the
epitome of Preston Sturges.
    5. Synecdoche, New York (Charlie Kaufman, 2008 - European release
in 2009): a pastiche of existence; there's no way to describe it; it's
pretty intense.

I hope I'll make it to see Synecdoche, New York this coming weekend.

Brimming with transgression and a love for the avant-garde...

and literally filled with underground and indie art/music/comic
book/film icons...

We need your support like you wouldn't believe...

http://www.amazon.com/Devils-Muse-Kristen-Kerr/dp/B001BP14NK

The movie is beautifully packaged and folks get sooooo much for their
money... however, it's just not selling... and it's NOT just the
economy... people just don't know about the movie...

Please tell your friends, spread the word, pick up a copy...
SERIOUSLY... This is our one chance to make an impression, and your
one chance to get it... after a few months, who knows?

It could be gone forever... taken off the shelf so to speak and erased
from cultural history... Even if you don't buy it, please go to the
Amazon page... help the visibility rise... right now, the rating
(based on page views and sales) is really crappy...

Personally for something that brought so many
underground/indie/arthouse people together (the
following are in the film, or have music in it or worked on it!)...
Freddie Rojas, Neal Fredericks, Kristen Kerr, Lizzy Strain, Julie
Strain, Gidget Gein (of Marilyn Manson), David J (Bauhaus, Love And
Rockets), Mark Borchardt, Charles Schneider, Robert Williams
(underground art legend), Masuimi Max, Dame Darcy, Cinque Lee (Mystery
Train, Coffee And Cigarettes), Caveh Zahedi, Courtney Cruz, Sarah
Scott, Amie Nicole, Lloyd Kaufman, Trent Haaga, Abby Travis, Jade
Starr, My Ruin, Dub Gabriel, Djam Karet, Ego Plum, Will Keenan, and
Lenora Claire to name a VERY small few (seriously)... It's a
time-capsule of a who's who of indie, arthouse,
horror, and underground art/music/film people... and it's cool!

It's well worth it, and you'll make me happy as all heck.

It's not about the money, as it's impossible for the film to really
make its money back or any profit at this point...

It's about NOT BEING FORGOTTEN...

If you're a member of this board, you owe it to yourself to at least
take a gander or convince someone else to pick it up if you can't or
don't want to...

This is real UNDERGROUND cinema... without compromises!

I love you all for this and much more...
