I have noticed that the gap between closed shot cinema and open shot cinema is widening and a stream of experimental and abstract film festivals are beginning to establish themselves over the years to have what seems a fairly grounded following annually. I have done my best to source as many as possible on snuffboxfilms but am interested if people know of others going on and even better, really underground screenings - the kind like Flixation where you imagine people gathered in a tin shack slugging down moonshine.
