Silent Film Soundtracks Vol. 1, a collection of four of my original
movie scores, has just been released by the Pimalia label and is
available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes (just search under Larry
Marotta).

This first release contains my scores for films I think would be of
interest to people on this particular list: "Anemic Cinema" (1926,
Marcel Duchamp), "H20" (1929, Ralph Steiner), "Regen" (1928, Joris
Ivens), and "Christmas, USA" (1949, Gregory J. Markopoulos) that
appeared on the Kino International DVDs "Avant Garde - Experimental
Cinema of the 1920s & 1930s" and "Avant-Garde 2: Experimental Cinema
1928-1954." All scores are performed my me and are for solo guitar:
electric, acoustic, and lap steel.

Volume 1 will be first in series of releases containing my film
scores. Volume 2 shouuld be ready for release in the next few months.
