She posted on her own website a good while back that she was trying to
learn english. That information itself was one of only a couple of
items on the webpage that itself was in english. So obviously she
knows SOMEONE who can write english.
I woulod be very surprised to learn that the traditional japanese new
year is the same day as the traditional western new year.
