If not, I am inviting you to an event that continues to serve as a tool for Filipinos in learning about money, business and investing.
What: R. Kiyosaki cashflow 101 Gathering powered by Create Abundance Business Community When: January 17, 23 and 30, 2009 (choose one date), Time: 9:00am-1:00pm Where: The Venue, 2F Pearl Plaza Pearl Drive, Ortigas Center Pasig City Fee: Php400.00 inclusive of lunch and workshop materials. If you bring a friend, the two of you will just pay P200.00 each.
Send me a text message at 0918-9047628 or 0923-2157973 to reserve seats.
It really amazes me how people waste their money on programs and
events to see charlatans like Robert Kiyosaki, and Carlton sheets,
Charles givens, Dave Ramsey, and all those other people you hear all
the time on the radio and see on the TV. For crying out loud people
WAKE UP!!! There are no big secrets to having lots of cash in life,
this isn't brain surgery here, it's called living on less then you
make and never borrowing money to buy everything you have in life.
These wealthy charlatans may sound impressive when you listen to them
because they are smart people but they don't really teach you
anything outside of {common sense} when it comes to money, just do
things the way grandma & grandpa use to do them and you will be just
fine. It doesn't take a Robert Kiyosaki to teach you this.

If Carlton Sheets and his clones were making millions with their programs, why
would they
have the time or need to develop programs which essentially train their
competitors?
Answer: The world is full of boneheads who are easily fleeced. Probably the same
dudes
that "fall in love" and send money to a 23 yo Filipina virgin with 2 kids they
met on the
internet!

Amen brother, Now that the homes are paid for I use the 1/3
method, 1/3 of my income for day to day expenses, 1/3 for short term
savings to pay for vacations, house remodeling, new furniture, etc,
and 1/3 for long term savings/investments. And never any credit.

Well I don't know about that, I saw Robert K in Melbourne several
years ago, he changed my way of thinking about property and life, and
thanks to some of his ideas that kick started me to look at different
ways to make money and with my new thinking and hard work in 5 years
I had several rental houses and a 1m house for myself. So if it
wasn't for that kick start I would still be like 80% of Australians
just plodding along. So I say to each his own, with some open minded
thinking and hard work yes it does work BUT if you have a closed mind
and not willing to gamble it will not work. Thank you Michael ps and
I do now live in Cebu now in a very nice house and run a good
business.

Time has changed. We already live in the present. Before it was the
agrarian age,etc.. Today, we live in the information age. If you
say "just do things the way grandma & grandpa use to do them and you
will be just fine", I think we will all be in trouble, or in
short "broke".
I understand how you feel. But isn't it better to be open-minded,
learn new ideas and adapt to change? The more we educate ourselves,
the more we learn, and that will give us higher chances to succeed.
A person is responsible for his own fate. By educating ourselves, we
are able to distinguish good deals from bad deals. Most people fall
into scams because they are not financially literate.
This is what we offer in our community and I would like to invite you
to check our site and sign up at www.ca2020.ning.com. If you have any
questions, I'll be happy to answer them.

Absolutely not Dexter,, when I say do things the way grandma and
grandpa use to do them I mean STOP borrowing money that you can't
afford to pay back for things you really don't need just to impress
people you really don't like. That's how so many Americans got into
this mess we are in now, them borrow $$$$ up to their eyeballs and
then wonder why they have no real money saved up in life when they
get old. Robert Kiyosaki like all the other CHARLATANS out there
teach the OPM theory, for the average person that theory will never
work, never has and never will. {AND THEY KNOW IT}!!!! Meaning the
charlatans. Live on less then you make, pay cash for everything in
life, never use credit cards, and you will be just fine. TRUST ME!!!!!
That theory works 100% of the time, EVERYTIME!!!!

-Tony, have to agree wholeheartedly with you on this. If you put
yourself on a CASH basis and spend less than you make, you will always
have money. Paying out a significant portion of your income in
interest payments gets you nothing. This philosophy however, is
unpopular with the "Gotta Have It" folks. Faced with a mountain of
debt at the end of each month, they live in a state of constant
stress. The state of the economy now is the result of this type of
thinking.Seems many don't want to realize there is a tomorrow, and
eventually, the money you borrow has to be repaid.-- In cebucitytoday@yahoogroups.com, "msft_tony" <msft_tony@...> wrote:

I am not trying to argue with what you currently believe. We are all
entitled to our own opinions. Fact is, we should continuously educate
ourselves and learn. If not, we'll find ourselves in a hole.
I agree with what you said earlier about not borrowing money.
Questions we should ask ourselves are "Am I getting to the amount of
money I need to be financially free?" or "How fast am I growing my
wealth?".
If you are not satisfied with your answers then you should change
your strategy. If you are already satisfied then that's very good for
you.
Robert Kiyosaki is already a multi-millionaire. I should believe him
instead of a "financially broke" person ((This is my opinion). I am
not saying you are broke because I do not personally know you. No
arguements here. Thanks to all who have shared their opinions.
