Time has changed. We already live in the present. Before it was the
agrarian age,etc.. Today, we live in the information age. If you
say "just do things the way grandma & grandpa use to do them and you
will be just fine", I think we will all be in trouble, or in
short "broke".

I understand how you feel. But isn't it better to be open-minded,
learn new ideas and adapt to change? The more we educate ourselves,
the more we learn, and that will give us higher chances to succeed.

A person is responsible for his own fate. By educating ourselves, we
are able to distinguish good deals from bad deals. Most people fall
into scams because they are not financially literate.
