I'll try to be brief in this note, but it's something that I feel
compelled to write.  Lauren Frost was nice enough to grant me an
interview today for an article I'm currently writing.  She didn't
have to; she could have easily just ignored my request, but she
accepted.

Without going into too much detail, I basically stuttered my way
through a series of questions, making a complete fool of myself while
painfully listening to my voice cracking involuntarily.  I was simply
star-struck.  I've had to conduct interviews over the phone before,
but I've never forgotten how to talk as much as I did today.

I simply cannot state this enough: Lauren Frost was extremely nice,
extremely charming, and just a complete doll.  Though I still would
have said it had today not occurred, anything short of super-stardom
will not match the character and the talent Lauren Frost possesses.

I'm saving most of the interview for the article, but I'll try to
transcribe some of it to the site.

I found out that Lauren was given a "Career All-Around Performer"
award by the Omni Youth Music Awards.  I can't, for the life of me,
figure out when it was given.  The photo that is used on the site is
one of the more recent photos; however, under Lauren's name it
says "Even Stevens" and "Even Stevens hasn't been on in like two
years.  But, whatever.  It was a special award.  You can check out

Well, if you look under files you'll see that one of the folders has
been renamed.  It's now called HQ pics, and you'll find a ton of HQ
pics now.  Along with some new pics in the new folders, you'll find
some more new pics in the "What a Pair 2004" folder.

I have a few more, but I don't have room.  I'll see what I can do to
add them.  I want to save some space for music files and videos.

Most of the photos, by the way, came from from thecelebritycity.com.

I also deleted the Yahoo! Messenger skins, the Winamp skins, and the
screen saver.  The first two are so out of date that they won't work
at all.  The last one I deleted, because I'm not sure if it ever
worked.

This is pretty cool, because unlike the Timeless vid, the AFI tribute
was never put on video.  This was my first time seeing the AFI tribute.

Wow, she looks young.  That was like six years ago.

I could save these videos from YouTube and post them here for all of
us to download (that is, if I can fit them all).  I might be able to
make an .mp3 of the song too.  If any of you are interested send me a
note and I'll get around to making it quicker.  (By the way, the .mp3

This means a couple of things. One, if she's still getting publicity
pictures taken, that means that she's still in the business. And two,
the last time she got new pictures she posted them up on her site.

First download the file to your computer.  So, go to the files
section, right click on the file you want and go to "save target
as..."  Then just save the file where you want it to be stored.

After it's downloaded, go to the file on your computer and right
click on it.  Go up to "open with..." and then there should be a few
choices (depending on what's installed on your computer).  Go to
whatever application you want and it should open.

As for how I got the files, the ones from "Timeless" I just ripped a
portion from the CD.  That's also what I did for the clip from "The
American Girls Revue."

The Even Stevens song I found off of Kaaza.  "Man of 1,000 Dreams"
and "Proud, Strong and Free" were posted on her Web site a couple
years ago.
