First download the file to your computer. So, go to the files
section, right click on the file you want and go to "save target
as..." Then just save the file where you want it to be stored.
After it's downloaded, go to the file on your computer and right
click on it. Go up to "open with..." and then there should be a few
choices (depending on what's installed on your computer). Go to
whatever application you want and it should open.
As for how I got the files, the ones from "Timeless" I just ripped a
portion from the CD. That's also what I did for the clip from "The
American Girls Revue."
The Even Stevens song I found off of Kaaza. "Man of 1,000 Dreams"
and "Proud, Strong and Free" were posted on her Web site a couple
years ago.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I tried the files on Windows Media
Player and Real Player and both worked. I usually use MusicMatch
Jukebox, which works as well. I'm not sure what the problem is.

You are absolutely right that she is entitled to time off and to be
out of the public eye. I don't think that is her intention though,
perhaps she is not finding much work at the moment, I worry that she
may disappear into obscurity and here we are fans of someone we may
never see again, (I won't give up though).
My complaint is with the people running her site. When you look at the
websites of other (far less talented) Even Stevens cast members, like
Christy Carlson Romano it is astounding, regular messages, constantly
telling her fans how much they mean to her etc.
There is not even a forum on Laurens site, which would help to gauge
the amount of fans she has (not to mention record companies and
filmmakers) . Im not sure Lauren realises she has fans, perhaps she is
under the assumption that it is mainly Barbra Streisand fans being
nice to her, I think if the runners of the site were doing their job,
then she would become aware that people are eager to hear her music
and watch her act.
Well when I click on the sound file, this message crops up:
Windows Media Player cannot play the file.
If the file is on another computer, verify that you are connected to
the network. If you typed a path, verify that it is correct. If the
problem persists, the server might not be available.
Is window media player the one you use?
Well, I'm sure she's busy, and I feel that if she wants to take
herself out of the public eye, then she should be entitled to do so.
Lauren has been doing the show business thing for a good part of her
life, and maybe she just wants to take some time off.

I'm not sure why they're not working for you. I just got done
checking every sound file on this site and they all worked for me.
As for www.geocities.com/laurenfrostfansite/, there are no sound files
on that site. Only links to sites that at one time had the files. It
could be that the sites have been removed since I posted the links.

I have to say I am rather annoyed at the fact that her official site
has had nothing new to tell us for such a long time, they are not
doing a good job of keeping her name up.
I am patiently waiting to hear something but it gets harder one year
on from hearing anything. I wonder if Lauren realises that she has
fans.
I think we should bombard the site with emails and attempt to get
something new, not being pushy or nasty, just politely say that we
would like some news. It is particularly annoying when her sit claims
to be updating, or says 'Come back soon for new updated calender'
These forums are brand new and could use a kick start! As far I know,
this is the first forum dedicated exclusively to Lauren! Join today!
Check the out community here:
http://lovelylauren.net/forums
Also, check out great Lauren downloads on the Web site, Lovely Lauren
Frost:
http://lovelylauren.net/
There's a new Lauren wallpaper!
Well, it usually says, thanks for posting be sure to check my website
for news. Then has the cheek to say, "We'll try to keep things
interesting" Given that it is a year since it was last updated, I find
that comment slightly bemusing.
Mitchell, who you might recall made all those great Lauren wallpapers
and artwork, has made his own site for Miss Frost. It includes all
the old artwork and there's plenty of more to come including a
community for fans to gather. It's already better than anything I've
done! Check it out here:

A set reply? Is that one of those automatic replies that is sent
sometimes through an e-mail? If so, what do those say?
I never got a reply that was longer than a few lines. Most of them
said something like "Thanks for writing, I'll check out your sites
soon" and then her name. When I wrote to wish her a happy birthday,
she sent an e-mail back saying something like "thank you very much
for the birthday wishes" and then she responded to my comment about
her new hairstyle. The last time I wrote was a couple years ago and
that was for her birthday again. However, I never got a reply from
that one.
I heard that when she first opened the site her responses were
larger and more in-depth. I think she had to cut down, because of
the volume of e-mails she was receiving. As with any celeb (or busy
person for that matter), it's impossible to give that kind of
attention to everyone.

Other than the e-mail on her Web site, I've never come across any
other address to send fan mail to. I actually received a few
replies from the e-mail address, but that was a couple years ago and
I've since heard that more recent attempts have been unsuccessful.
As for the autograph request on her site, a friend of mine tried it
about a year ago and he never got anything back. He ended up
winning an auction on eBay to get one. It wouldn't hurt to try it,
though, or even the e-mail address.

I was just wondering if there was anyway to write to Lauren in a way
that we can sure that she will recieve it. I think as many of us as
posible should write to her, to prompt her to at least ackknowledge
the fact that she has fans and in turn that she will give us some
news, even if it is simply to say she is doing all right.
Incdently, on her web site, there is an option to request an
autograph, has anyone actually recieved on using this method? and how
long did it take?
I hope people do not lose interest during this period.
Thanks, the information you gave was very helpful.
Hopefully we will not have to wait too long for an official album,
which I will seize the minute it hits the shelves.
Hey! Welcome to the group!
There are a few sound files of Lauren on the net, but they're
scattered. If you look under the files in this group, there's a
section for clips and a couple complete songs. Other than that, you
can surf through this page:
http://www.geocities.com/laurenfrostfansite/songs.html
I would post all of the songs in the group, but I'm not sure if I'm
allowed to. In fact, I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to post the
files I have in this group.
There is a page on my site that contains links to sound files. It's
mostly songs, but there's a very interesting link to an .mp3 sample
of her commercial work.
As for the DVD, the seller got it from a contest in "All About
Barbra" magazine I'm not sure how many were given away, but there's
always a chance!

I would like to know if there is anywhere on the net where I can hear
Lauren, sound bites, mp3 etc.
I hope that there is another signed copy of the DVD on Ebay, as the
last one seemingly went for a fairly low price, one which I would have
exceeded.
The proceeds will go to The New Moon Childrens Theatre Workshop!
However, the DVD is region 2, so be sure that it'll work in your DVD
player before placing a bid.

Well, I forgot all about it, but Lauren turned 20 on the 25th. So,
happy birthday!
In other news, check out Mitchell's newest Lauren mod here:
http://caladbolg.net/lauren
It's great as always.
Well, I just logged in today and saw that the groups were changed
around. I guess it's nothing to be too concerned over. For some
reason they added about 50 new members. I'm not sure how that
happened.
That's cool, always new merchandise up on ebay!
