Cheers David,
Hope you are well.
I too feel A Man Escaped is my favorite Bresson but both L’Argent
and Pickpocket seem to be advancing upon it with subsequent viewings.
Cheers,
Gary

Wow. Thanks Gary. "A Man Escaped" has always been my
favorite Bresson. It impacted me emotionally and very
personally at a particularly wrenching time in my life
ie. High School) and its power hasn't diminished over
the years. My other faves would include "Le Diable
Probablement," "Pickpocket," and "Les Dames du Bois de
Boulogne."
