"Wasteland" seeks new network<br><br>The producers of
Wasteland aren't going to let a cancellation notice from
ABC put a stop to their series' chance for success.
<br><br>According to Knight Ridder Newspapers, Kevin Williamson and
Billy Campbell have approached FOX and MTV about adding
Wasteland to their schedules. The show, created by
Williamson (Dawson's Creek), starred Marisa Coughlan as one
of six twentysomethings living in New York and was
cancelled after only three episodes.<br><br>"We're having
conversations. It's a longshot, but it's still worth pursuing,"
said Campbell. "We'd love to have someplace give it a
chance." Williamson holds that the show didn't fly with
viewers the first time around because it went up against
