Hey everyone...

I've been posting off an on on this board for a few months.  Now that
we're getting closer to the Braceface DVD being available, I feel I
can reveal my secret identity and maybe help answer any questions you
have, at least on the DVD end, about Braceface.  I work on Braceface
for FUNimation Productions, the company that has the home video
rights in the U.S. for Braceface.

I have some excellent news for you on the DVD.

1) We are not editing anything out of the show.  Although the
Amazon.com tag says Edit, this represents the Y7 rating of the show.
So... trust that all of the lines (including when Nina does the
splits and Connor remarks) are all intact.

2) Volume one: Brace Yourself includes episodes 1-3.  The interview
with Sharon Spitz on the DVD was written by Melissa Clark herself.
Again, nothing is cut out of the episodes.

3) Volume two: Getting Real includes episodes 4-6 and releases August
31.

4) The Official Braceface DVD Newsletter is planned to come out once
a month.

5) I'm looking to put together a Braceface Buzz Team to really get
this show noticed (insuring that Disney holds onto it longer, all the
eps get released to DVD, etc)  Anyone who is interested (Vegi... you
would be SO perfect), send me an e-mail through the site.  I'd like
to get fans of all ages all over the U.S. to be a part of the Buzz
Team.  And yes, buzz members have the inside track on almost
everything we are doing with Braceface.  =-)

I look forward to hearing back from everyone.  Sorry I had to wait so
long to reveal who I was.  Although, with everyone knowing the
FUNimation is releasing the DVD, it was only a matter of time before

Well i only got 2 more done since the 1st. ive had a tight schedule
lately with finals and school. plus other stuff. I plan on getting 4
done a week. maybe more. ill keep you all updated. One problem i
have though is i can only get the audio to record in Mono, not
sterio. I can fix it, with another program but it would take twice
as long an episode and a chance of over-lapping audio.

I'm new to this board. I have become a big fan of Braceface and I
know that in Canada they are on season 5 of Braceface. I was just
wondering if anyone can post the first and last episode title of each
season if possible. Also whats going on with the characters (ive been

yeah i do like the partial mov i.e not full intro mov

and partial Intro mp3which is used for some eps...but i could of
thought there was a fuller intro for most eps i.e longer

plus to have it as a visual+sound wound be cool!!

and the sound at the end of the ep would be even better..

is there a braceface soundtrack????

so any bright spacks out there that have done all this or could plus
more???

Hi I'm Melissa, I'm 10 years old.I'm going into 5th grade. I'm  starting to become vegetarian. I love animals. I  think that they should not have to suffer and die for people to eat when we have veggies. I have 1cat, 2 kittens, 2 guinea pigs, and 1 dog. I have a 7 year old sister and I have a little sister due in september.My mom is vegan and shows us cool different foods.Our dad on the other hand is an omnivore. Actress Silverstone hosts documentary premiere Friday

SHE'S back and we're happy. Former Bay Area resident Alicia
Silverstone, likable star of "Clueless," "Batman and Robin"
and "Blast from the Past," will appear at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the
Herbst Theatre, 401 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco, to host "Peaceable
Kingdom." The 70-minute documentary from Jenny Stein and James LaVeck
of "The Witness" focuses on the mistreatment of farm animals.
Sometimes hundreds are raised in a small dark spaces where they can't
turn around. The film also looks at people who have devoted their
lives to rescuing the animals -- cows, pigs, chickens -- from
warehouses and slaughterhouses and moved them to more humane quarters
to live out their lives. Silverstone, who will host the evening's
festivities, is quoted in press materials describing the movie
as "'Fahrenheit 9/11' meets 'Babe.'" Another thing we like about
Silverstone is she knows how to sell. You can decide for yourself if
her description is accurate at the event, which includes a discussion
and reception after the Bay Area premiere of the film. Silverstone is

I notice there are a lot of newbies on the board.  If you haven't

Vegi has done a great job of posting hers on the board here.  But its
always good to have a copy of your own too.  The newsletter gets
updated and sent out every two weeks.

I got a question you might be able to answer. I have a small
Braceface guide on my site. It's an Alicia fansite and I was looking
for information on for which episode she did the voicework. If I
understand correctly someone replaced her during the period when Miss
Match was shooting. I hope you have info on which episodes Alicia did
the voicework for.

I know I saw the last episode too! I had stopped watching Braceface because it
was getting boring watching the same reruns over and over again but I was
flipping channels and I realized it was the last episode! I was so stoked by the
ending and wish there were more episodes coming out.
