Toolbox Murders was actually a decent film. The acting was good and the uneasy
feeling throughout the whole thing worked out perfectly. I'm usually not big on
remakes but I feel Tobe did a nice job.

couldn't tell what the heck was going on. A guy dressed in black chasing someone
barely lit in the blackness of a shadowy hotel.... yeah, pretty uneventful.

It's been years since I have seen the Tool Box Murders I can't remember to much about what it's about other than it was rated 8 on my scale if a movie reach's 10 on my scale I will watch it over and over. It's good to know it's out on DVD i might look into getting it to see again..

I really liked it. Possibly one of the few good horror films of the 21st century (so far). If it's possible for a remake to be called 'original' this actually does it! Funny, since the original Toolbox was actually seen as a bad ripoff of Hooper's TCM. Perhaps Hooper and company should have omited the 'remake' associations and perhaps titled it 'The Apartment Murders', 'Massacre with Tools' or even 'The Handyman Killer'. Too bad this film got overlooked back in '03. It really could've been Tobe's big comeback.

'Poltergeist' series has been taken off of life support and has only a short
time left. A very sad day for all horror fans who enjoyed her amazing presence

I've seen her in a few things aside from the 'Poltergeist' films and she always
brought a smile to my face; her wit and humor in films were always well timed.

It's amazing how drastic news changes via-internet. What are we all to believe now when they report news. Here I was thinking to myself, 'We'll never again get to hear that creepy little voice again...'. Let's hope the situation will improve even more. There's been too many film legends that have past away recently.

Hello Everyone! I apologize for my tardiness and my lack of cleaning and
updating this page. So much going on here lately. However, have no fear that I
have returned and am ready to continue talking about horror, Chainsaw, and our
favorite 'Bubba.'

So, here is my first topic to start off with - How old were you when you saw
your first 'Chainsaw' film, which one was it, and what did you think of it?

For me, it would be part 3. I was about 12. I had seen the preview for it
numerous times but never saw it until I was at a friend's house and her husband
had a copy. She allowed me to borrow it and I loved it. After that, I accidently
got a hold of the horrible part 4. That one turned me away from the whole series
for many years. After awhile, I eventually picked up the original and found it
to be very creepy. I was about 16 when I saw that one. It was not until my
second year of college that I picked up Part 2 and fell in love with the whole
series (well, the first three). After that, I became a 'Leatherhead' with Part 2
being my favorite out of all of them!

Ooohh, tough one. It's been so long, I forget. Back when video tapes were in their heyday, I saw all kinds of horror. Cable TV was just becoming very popluar, so that's what people did - go out and rent movies. Part 3 was not out yet, and I know for certain that I watched part 1 and 2, but I don't remember which one I saw first. Both are great.

I can remember I was pretty young when I first seen the original Texas Chainsaw. It was on beta if I remember correctly. Then when Chainsaw 2 came out I seen it in theater the day it came out. I had seen them both so many times since then. The back in 06 they showed TCM2 on the big screen in the original 355mm. It was great and Bill Johnson was there so it was even better. But then to top that off back in 09 for Texas Frightmare Weekend, the showed the original Texas Chainsaw, original 35mm, with Tobe Hooper, Marilyn Burns, Teri McMinn, and Caroline Williams in attendance. That was great.

Take it easy,
Riley

Tomorrow is my youngest child's 13th birthday. I know there are people in this group from all over the world. Would you mind, off the forum of course, sending him an email wishing him a Happy Birthday. If so, just send them to my email and I will compile all of them together. If you could, be sure to write where you are from.I know it would mean a lot to him. His name is Ian and like I said he will be 13 tomorrow. Thank you so much and have an awesome day. If this email is unwanted, please just delete.

Take it easy,
Riley

Good morning everyone. I was wondering something. My fifteen year old daughter
is a huge fan of the show "Glee". Just recently she has been writing fan fiction
about the show. I helped her get started on posting it in the form of a blog.
One chapter a week. If you don't mind, please check it out. Here is the address:

I know you did this for my son last year. I was wondering if there was anyway you could do it again this year. His birthday is coming up on the 27th and I made an email address especially for this. If you had a couple minutes, could you either reply to me from here or send an email to this address happybirthdayian@... and wish him a happy birthday. I am asking a few people and I will compile it and give it to him on Friday. He still talks about how awesome it was to get one from everyone last year. His name is Ian and he will be 14 on the 27th of this month. Thank you so much and have an awesome day.

Take it easy,
Riley
