It's amazing how drastic news changes via-internet. What are we all to believe now when they report news. Here I was thinking to myself, 'We'll never again get to hear that creepy little voice again...'. Let's hope the situation will improve even more. There's been too many film legends that have past away recently.

Apparently, the news media exaggerated on her condition. She seems to be doing well and is recovering. So very glad to hear!! Here is the link to the story.

I've seen her in a few things aside from the 'Poltergeist' films and she always
brought a smile to my face; her wit and humor in films were always well timed.

I really liked it. Possibly one of the few good horror films of the 21st century (so far). If it's possible for a remake to be called 'original' this actually does it! Funny, since the original Toolbox was actually seen as a bad ripoff of Hooper's TCM. Perhaps Hooper and company should have omited the 'remake' associations and perhaps titled it 'The Apartment Murders', 'Massacre with Tools' or even 'The Handyman Killer'. Too bad this film got overlooked back in '03. It really could've been Tobe's big comeback.

It's been years since I have seen the Tool Box Murders I can't remember to much about what it's about other than it was rated 8 on my scale if a movie reach's 10 on my scale I will watch it over and over. It's good to know it's out on DVD i might look into getting it to see again..

Toolbox Murders was actually a decent film. The acting was good and the uneasy feeling throughout the whole thing worked out perfectly. I'm usually not big on remakes but I feel Tobe did a nice job.

I really liked Toolbox Murders. It really was nice to see Tobe Hooper back to what he did best. The atmosphere was creepy as was the music. Too bad it got overlooked at the time of its release as it could have been Hooper's big 'comeback'.
If you're looking for some really good 'newer' horror titles to rent you really should check out 'Wolf Creek', 'Vacancy 2: The First Cut', 'Wrong Turn', 'The Strangers' and the new 'My Bloody Valentine'.
