Re: Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Remake Sequel

I bought the two disc set for the remake of "The Texas Chainsaw
Massacre." I am a film buff and I love the fact that the majority of
dvds have extra behind the scenes stuff and wide screen. I liked the
fact that the makers of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake seemed
to have a passion for the material of "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,"
and they also created new characters except for Leatherface. The
remake of "Dawn of the Dead" had a similar effect for me. It was
like the original movie and had some of its' elements, but it was
different and succeeds as well like the remake of Chainsaw did. The
Sheriff in the Chainsaw remake was great. I loved the scenes of the
sheriff in the police car and me makes those jokes as he wraps up the
poor girl, who shot herself. The "Psycho" remake did not work as
well, because Gus tried to do a shot by shot movie, but without Janet
Leigh and Anthony Perkins, it just didn't work. If Gus would of
maybe did a "Psycho" remake based upon the book and not do it shot by
shot remake, it would of worked better. I hvae the dvd to "Psycho"
98, but I bought it because the extras were awesome. I loved the new
two disc set for the chainsaw remake.
