Re: Tired of the Saw series?

They are supposidly saying that part VI will be the last one in the
Saw series. I mean, what more could they do? The series was not even
that enjoyable.

Never saw the TCM prequel. I heard it was pretty much a gory replica
of the remake.

And speaking of remakes, it now looks like Child's Play will be
getting one. Check it out here:

Movie 4, you really can't take him serious anymore.
> On another topic, did any of you see TCM: The Beginning? Talk
about the most mean-spirited film ever made. The original
Leatherface had a depth of emotions, including fear, remorse and
care for his kin. Bill's Leatherface was a child-like romantic,
filled with human thoughts and made the audience care for him. This
latest incarnation is just plain mean, sick and totally one
dimensional. At the "dinner scene" he simply slits a girl's throat
and has her bleed all over the table. If the Cook had been there he
would have scolded his brother for messing up the dinner table. The
ending is completely downbeat, leaving the audience depressed. At
least the '03 remake had an exciting conclusion, where the victim
gets a bit of revenge.Heck, even Last House on The Left had a the
bad guys get what they deserved in the end. This crap made me really
hate the new Leatherface even more!

Who else is tired of the Saw series? Part 4 is going to be released soon and they are already getting stuff together for parts 5&6. I would have to say this...

I'm tired of it. Speaking of movies, I saw the Night of the Living Dead remake is out. It has Sid Haig in it, and is in 3D (it even comes with 3D glasses). :)...

Child's play?!? Already?? I still stick by my rule that they shouldn't be allowed to remake any movie that was done in the 70s, 80s, 90s, or 2000s. There's...

There is a film out there called Dolly Dearest which was about a killer doll that took elements from both Child's Play and The Exorcist. I see the remake of...

Yeah, it was enjoyable in some parts. However, it mainly just reminded me of The Exorcist with a doll. On the discussion of the Saw series. The film is getting...

I think that the SAW series is so revered because it's not a remake of a classic. It's far from being classic, featuring more holes than Swiss cheese, but it...
