Marty~
I too wanted Bette to come to Houston. In order to keep from missing
the tour this year, I traveled all the way to Dallas with 2 friends.
Had she had a performance in Houston, I would have 10 people in tow.
I would encourage her to perform in Houston. She has many loyal
fans. Dallas is just too far away to travel on a Thursday
night...given traffic(of course the most famous 45N at San Jacinto
River bridge-UGH!), it's a 4ish hour trip.
The concert, in my opinion, is one of her best. I've only been
fortunate enough to attend to 2 of her concerts, this being the most
recent. I have no doubt that Bette would be welcomed. Heck, I might
even be able to swing more $$$ for the tickets. At the lowest level
prices, I had very good seats & cannot complain one bit about it.
Bette was at her best & still is!
