Although Vabreb seems to dislike this film and everyone is entitled
to their own opinion, I personally found it little short of
brilliant. I have never particularly liked Albert Finney in movies
but he excelled himself in the quietly understated role of Mr.
Crocker-Harrison, the teacher. Ben Silverstone was superb in his
debut role as the sensitive and understanding pupil, Taplow. The
music, script and overall feel of the movie were spot on, you really
should try and see it, which I know is difficult because the video
isn't easy to come by. Anyway, I've just uploaded 8 pixs of Ben
from "The Browning Version" for you to take a look at.
