Re: [Ben Silverstone] where is ben ?/ We love Ben in the USA   Message List

Hi,
I came late to the movie Get Real too, several years after its premiere, found
it by luck in Netflix. I love Ben and Brad however, my likes are more for Brad.
He is so handsome, like Charlotte said, He is sex on legs! I have been
following his career closely and I read about Brad that he is in a UK Sci-Fi
show called StarHyke. They have a webpage and yahoo group for those interested.
Ben has been involved with a lot of theater since graduating from Cambridge, no
more movies for him, which is a pity because he is such a great actor. In the
US, we do not enjoy good British movies and we have to buy them in the net. He
is so natural, his laugh and humor are awesome! Unfortunately, his webpage is
on hold with Pete the person who manages his account. Before you could read the
previous chats, give opinions, and share news. Right now, is only for reading
fan fictions. What's Wrong with Angry? is coming to San Francisco next week, I
have tickets for june 10th. this is the play
which Get Real is based on. I am looking forward to the show, I am very
interested in finding out how are they similar or not to the movie.

Just like everone else, I am hooked with this movie. I saw it 3 times before
buying the CD, bought via internet the soundtrack, listen to the music everyday
while driving, have watched the movie about 60 times since January, cannot get
tired of it and because I consider it a love story, it bring tears most of the
times when John and Steven cry, and definitely I hate the end as I feel it
doesn't have closure. I do not like the ending at all! There are so many
questions unanswered and that is why the fan fiction at bensilverstone.net gives
you that closure that the movie doesn't have. I printed out all the fan
fictions and read them all, it came out as a book of 985 pages. Most of them
are great stories about Steve and John's love, what happened after he took off?
How did they go back to school the next Monday? How long it took John to come
out clean to his parents? How understanding were John's parents? Did John tell
his parents immediately or years later? How did they react
the the fact his "beautiful son" was gay? How did Steven's parents dealt with
Steven telling everyone at school he was gay and that he is in love and have a
boyfriend? The fan fictions are excellent for you to imagine what could have
happened but didn't because Simon didn't extended the movie another 30 minutes
which now is normal to watch a 120 minutes movie. I wanted a sequel so bad but
now that is not even an option. I have read the two pilgrimages that they did
in Basingstoke after the movie. Ben came to both of them, Brad didn't go. If
you are interested in knowing more news about Brad, let me know. I can send you
the links where you can read his latest work and see pictures, he has definitely
changed from Get Real. His 31st birthday is next June 8th. I saw him on Club
le Monde and now I am trying to get a copy of the Case another of his movies.

As you can see I am one of his biggest fans and try to get as much of
information about Brad every time I can.,

Thanks.
