Hi RJ, I agree with you, Barbarella was a complete work of it's time and was an
inspired piece of culture of the 60's. I would also give credit to diector Roger
Vadim for his colorful vision & imagination. Jane Fonda is the perfect
Barbarella, Sammy.

personified the cartoon in looks,spirit & wit. Barbarella is not just
about the lead character, it's about everything the film threw at the
viewer back in 1968!Costumes, sets, the "in "jokes that are no longer
"in", the fabulous soundtrack... ... I have been a FAN since 68 & only
hope that if a remake is made whoever scripts, directs,produces remembers
the effect the original had on a huge audience. Barbarella is a massive
cult film not just because of Fonda (who was born to play Barbarella) but
because of the total package. And who would write the music???
