You're probably right, but for now... well, it takes little time or
effort to approve someone, and I can always change it later. The sole
reason for restricted membership and having newbie posts checked
before posting, is that this is in the adult section, and until the
group gets going, gets its legs so to speak, I want to be very sure
the spammers and suchlike trash don't get in. I figure there are
people just watching for new groups to arrive and post irrelevant
filth, but if they can't get in for say, a month... well, it won't be
a new group any more and they will have passed over us. At least it's
a help. I check my email several times a day, it's not like the
delay will be horrible or anything. I've given up on several groups
that just gave up and became spammer/sicko paradises with little or
no on-topic posts... I don't intend to let that happen here.

I think we can make a go of this!
