Check this I posted on the other groups . Explains a lot about all
my difficulies , including the film script .

Busy prolific period , with many exchanges with French people coming
for week ends to get awy from the turmoil in France .
The unease and riots are spreading to Belgium ...

It brings a certain awareness that is good for my music ; a " full
circle " millenium dimension of the sixties and seventies .
But I am still in the streets , and no one offers any gigs ...
A frozen situation that is explained under .
A double sided media on all topics ; music reduced mainly to very
commercial products , with always the same artists at national level .

A twofold system where U.S. and British imports get airplay and
viewing , but local material is profiled in a narrow " who fits the
entertainment picture " . An interesting idea from a U.S. partner is
to try on his side to open the door with a major distribution network
over there , and then " fold back " through this approach on Europe
to give me the ticket . I like that idea very much , as I am getting
nowhere fast .

Now for the U.S. members and other , please read under a review of the
situation in France :

The recent riots in France make Worldwide news .
It shows the incapability of the political class on all sides for
the last 30 years to deal with racial equality and adjustments .

A hidden segregation going back to the generation born after the
independence wars of Algeria , Tunisia , Morocco , etc ... ) , after
their parents moved th France .
This has a this stage little to do with the other terrorists ; it is
more of a local issue , but could become dangerous if linked with the
above mentioned , especially after the expulsion of the country of
120 offenders . The various medias of different countries give all
different figures and interpretations of these events , that have
caused very serious material damage on the European scale .
( 10 of thousands cars burned , curfew laws , many factories , schools
buildings , etc ... burned down . ) .
A very complex state of affairs , that will not improve in a hurry .
More than likely get worse before it gets better . This is not
pessimistic , just realistic . And half know , the other half ignore
it , hence the divide of society .

Added to students miscontent , Unions everywhere in protest , it is
a reflexion of what is going on over here . The cost of living is
much higher since the introduction of the Euro .

Also , the man responsible for all
this mess , according to the young generatio, is a Minister called
N.Sarkosy . Amongst other things , he was the Lord Mayor of the
residential area where my mother died , the unexplained " cover
up " of a death by shotgun , core of my book .
Coincidence ? 

I do not have to post more at this stage , general strikes in Belgium
and France after last month again to come ...
After the " no " vote " from Holland and France to the European
Constitution , a rather strong signal of things to come . Upcoming
events will be followed by the International media .
The U.S. has at least one Constitution , one language as a whole ,
one dollar , one federal reserve , and a relative freedom of
enterprise . Publish America would be a difficult business venture
over here . In France , there were appx. 100 publishers 10 years ago :
only appx. 10 main ones subside , and to get a book to sell , it
needs a review called a " bonne feuille " in the serious press .
But the press is very often profiled in favour of ... etc ...

I am as an artist apolitical , I only reflect through my books and
the glass eye of love relationships the general surroundings
implementing the changes on the run .
