[APML] Film Cans   Message List

When we put films into the freezer, we need to put them in plastic bags and fill these with dessicant, right? (I know we had this discussion recently.) That would be assuming that the film cans are not hermetically sealing. Does anyone know if this is really the case? If they were, we would have to put the dessicant in there with the roll of film.... Or (I'm realizing this as I write this) have I missed out on something, namely the fact that the rolls are taken out of the cans before freezing in a plastic bag with dessicant? What is the case? And are film cans air-tight (just for the record)?

Ulrich
