OMG! I love Stephanie Leonidas, she's a fab actress. Loved her in Night

Ash/Asier's mum has given me some official news:

He is keeping Newman as his surname but is going back to Asier, so
will now be known as Asier Newman.

His agents in Spain and England think its for the best (i agree as it
is a name your more likely to remember as its different)

So when his Spanish film is released next year it will be under the
name Asier Newman,that way his Spanish and English roots are covered.

So his name will still be Ash while he is on Hollyoaks, but when he
has finished on there and the film is released he will be ASIER NEWMAN.

Confusing i know but i can see why he is doing it, as Ash Newman is
such an English name, where as Asier Cebeira was so Spanish, so he now
has the perfect mix.. Asier Newman :)

Hope that hasnt confused you too much, i wont change the names etc on
here til it officially changes but thought id keep you updated :)

PS  He is still filming in Madrid and was invited to the premier and
the after party of the new PEDRO ALMODOVAR film last night starring
PENELOPE CRUZ and had a great time.. *LUCKY MAN THAT HE IS!!*

Stephanie Leonidas who is a very good actress
friend of his, she said they have known each other for many years and
were attendin a Charity Bash.

Night and Day which ran briefly on ITV1 her name is Stephanie Leonidas
and she played Della Wells, shes also been in a few films, see more

Just found more photos of Ash off the Hollyoaks site which have been
added to the Hollyoaks Photos folder and also found 2 photos of Ash
with a girl (no idea who she is! maybe his gf?) and have added them to
the photos section in the "General and New" folder :)

Im glad you think Ash is great :) its good to have more fans joining
the group.

I dont know yet when the film will be released but im sure his mum will
let me know as soon as she knows.

Looks like 2006 is going to be a really good year for Ash!! seeing as
he has already become a cast member of Hollyoaks and agreed to take
part as male lead in a £6,000,000 budget movie!

Hey Musa,

All the information i get about Ash is directly from his mum who i am
in regular contact with. So majority of the photos and details you
will see here are from her, although i do find the odd bits and
pieces on the internet like the Hollyoaks photos etc.

So in answer to your question the new main photo was emailed to me
direct from Pilar (his mum) yesterday :)

LATEST NEWS ***LEAD MALE ROLE IN NEW SPANISH FILM!!*** 09/02/06

The Spanish press have just revealed the cast for JULIO MEDEMS new
film CAOTICA ANA

Our very own ASH NEWMAN will play the lead male part of ANGLO a young
American who hypnotises the films protagonist ANA played by MANUELA
VELLES regresses her to previous lives and whom he later falls in
love with, CHARLOTTE RAMPLING THE BRITISH ACTRESS FROM BASIC INSTINCT
2 is also attached to this film!

JULIO MEDEM is a Spanish Acadamy award winning Director, one of
Spains top four! Ash is thrilled to have been given the opportunity
to work with him especially as Male Lead!!

The film has a 6 million dollar budget (yes £6,000,000) and is being
filmed on a Sony hdCam 950 this is the first time this has been used
in Europe (previous films shot on this are films like STAR WARS 111
AND SIN CITY). LOCATIONS for this film are MADRID, NEW YORK, ARIZONA,
IBIZA, AND FUENTEVENTURA!!

Hollyoaks have given ash time of to film this and ash is very
grateful to them for rearranging his storylines!

Apparently the voiceover tape is made in a studio its just so that
clients can hear what you sound like and obviously depending on your
voice range  ( you pick commercials that suit your voice age)

the amazing thing is that my friend tells me that HOBSONS  are the top
agents for voice overs  so he must be good for them to have taken him on

if i hear any more news I will post on hear if thats ok

haha thats so cool!! some of those voiceovers on adverts like frank
etc sound familiar??? not sure if they were actually used or if they
are just examples of what he can do but thanks very much for letting
us know! its really cool hehe

That would be awesome if you could do that as unfortauntly i dont
buy any of the soap magazines anymore and dont get a chance to look
at them to see if he is mentioned like i used to.

mags and it hasn't already been mentioned on here, is it ok if i put
it on as 'Magazine Info' ?

Hi Holl!

I am indeed the same Kim hehe, ive been keeping everyone updated on
all things Asier/Ash for years now :) so im probably safe in saying
this is the best place to be to find out everything there is to know
about him!

The website was taken down quite a while ago as the company i bought
the webspace from no longer exists.

Im sure that sooner or later there will be an official website for Ash
which will be cool :) But i hope that this group will always remain
the best!

on TV  not only is he very pleasing to watch but he is a great actor so
real

I would love to watch shem if any one knows were i can get a copy

Have also noticed that he has been taken on by PREMIER MODEL AGENCY
WOW!!!! they are one of the tops in the country, mind you he is very
good looking
