Well this caught my attention so I'll answer
before wrting my big "hello"... Anyway. The reason she
started being hated (which is quite a strong word,
wouldn't you agree) only recently is very, very simple.
People who were NOT her fans from the beginning noticed
her (some got pissed, others loved her) BECAUSE of
the rather extensive media coverage. They were hardly
aware of her existence before that, so there was little
they could have said. Now everybody who has the
stupidity not to stay away from magazines is forced to look
at her face (which is indeed a pleasure) and most
importantly read her absurdities, which usually rovokes some
sort of reaction, positive or negative (obviously).
<br><br>Yes, she did have a following before GI, so do many
other young stars who are having a hard time getting
THAT popular because their dads are not celebs
themselves, and because they are not as skilled at making
scandalous statements and raising eyebrows. She did have a
following but back then she was sort of, I don't know, more
acceptable. She wasn't trying so hard. Or maybe she was but
nobody followed her every move. Maybe all the silly
blabbing and the big talk were there all the time but they
didn't get to us because noone was so eager to interview
her and ask her the questions she's so eager to
answer. We weren't given access to all that
attention-seeking nonsense she's been spitting recently so there
was very little about her to dislike.
