I especially like the corset costume. She's got that little filmy
black drape on her head, the opera glove on only one arm, and all
those diamonds. I like the big sparkler on her gloved pinky, and the
matching diamonds on her garters(only visible when her leg is kicked
in the air) In the last scene, I love the way her hair is done, with
her crown encasing a topknot of blonde hair empaled with a diamond
clusters inside and outside the crown's top. Extremely elaborate and
original in its detailing, makes me wonder how much more they spent
on Anna. Probably more than the other stars put together. Your
revision to the closing scene sounds more believable and logical than
the original. How about this, too? Realizing his only ticket to
freedom is his beautiful wife, the Baron forces her to seduce Dick
Van Dyke. She strips down to her corset, easily accomplishing her
mission. Fade to black as Van Dyke kisses the Baroness passionately,
while caressing her tightly-bound bodice. Neglected for so long, she
