RE: [Animators Forum] Animated feature needs a few warm bodies

Gee, Monkey, I really hope you get enough people to finish the feature film.
I'd offer my help but I've alredy seen that I do not have the time. Anyways,
my best wishes for your project...

Fergil

Subject: [Animators Forum] Animated feature needs a few warm bodies

Hey y'all!

I'm trying to wrap up the last month of art and animation for our feature
adaptation of H. P. Lovecraft's fantasy novel "The Dream-Quest of Unknown
Kadath".

URL: http://www.petting-zoo.org/Movies_Dreamquest.html

Trouble is, we're running short of Photoshop people (people who can work
After Effects are very dear, too!). So, if you're comfortable with simple
Photoshop things and this looks like something you want to play with for a
little while, I sure could use ya!

I can offer screen credit, and a copy of the finished movie, as well as an
invitation to the otherwise-private cast & crew reception during the
premiere in October. It looks as if one film festival is already interested
in it, and it also looks as if one distributor is already interested in it
as well, so it seems fairly likely that the thing (and your name) will be
seen by a fair shake of people. I can also offer you a link from the site,
and my undying thanks.

I wish I could pay you otherwise, I really do. This is a total volunteer
amateur effort, fueled almost entirely by caffeine. When I designed the
project, it was designed to be distributed in small jobs, each of maybe a
couple hours. So, you could do, say, half a dozen in a week and still
contribute mightily to this whack effort.

Even if you can't help, visit the website, look around, have a good time and
maybe get on the mailing list (privately maintained -- no ads or
soliciting). And pass the URL around to your friends, too! Everybody can
get strange!

Cheers,

unspeakable monkey,

Edward
