For those of you who haven't seen "Escape From Atlantis", here is your
chance! This Tues. Night at 9pm EST, the SCI FI Channel is airing the
made for TV flick. I only found this out after looking today at my
local TV Giude, which (and you'll flip over this one) has a small
black and white photo still of Jeff (!) with the plug of such airing.

dealing with a seminar, and here is that
report:<br><br>Motion picture star Jeff Speakman will be at the Kelley
Karate Center in Greenacres, Florida on Sturday, August
11th, 2001. Mr.Speakman is the star of several action
films including The Perfect Weapon, Street Night and
Escape from Atlantis. He is also the President of the
AKKS, one of the largest Kenpo organizations at large.
Two classes are going to be available, broken out by
age group. Class 1 will be from 11:00 to 12:00 noon
for ages 4-8. Class 2 will be for white through black
teens and adults from 2:00 to 4:00. Kids class is
$25.00. Adult class is $25.00 for AKKS members, $35.00
for non-members(CASH ONLY!). Note: PreRegistration is
advised as space is limited and Mr.Speakman's classes
usually fill up very quickly. Call 561-641-0382 to
reserve your space.

Hey eveybody.I meant to do this a few days ago
but you know how that goes.I was on a kenpo website a
few days ago and they had something about Jeff doing
a movie.Has anybody heard anything about it?They
didn't have much about it on that website.<br><br>Brian

I did some checking around and no one has any
information available at this time as to when/if they'll be
releasing it on DVD.. I have seen that version of the movie
though. Had it on tape once, but it got recorded
over...(dang vcr's anyhow).. I've got some contacts looking
into it further though. so as soon as they hear
anything let me know, then I'll be SURE to pass it along
to everyone here.... Alright... And I'll have them
keep a look out for his other films too...

Missing/edited scenes (yes-there are a few-! About 2yrs ago I
was ready to go to a wedding for one of my relatives,
and on a cable station, as I was getting ready in my
hotel room, was "Weapon". I thought. Great-! Some time
to kill before I go down (my second cousin married
in a hotel by a minister; the reception was also
held there). Then, while in the flashback scenes, I
heard some dialouge I hadn't heard before. Dubbed? No,
whole new line! I looked and it was a scene of the
Sanders Bros. as youths at a pinball arcade. I'm thinkin-
WHERE DID THIS COME FROM!<br><br>I checked; I wasn't
seeing things. I also heard somewhere that there is a
few lines given to the Adult Jennifer (Marsika
Hargitay, now on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit")...! I
have not seen that part of it, but I saw the kids in
the arcade scene.<br><br>Also, if they (assuming
Paramount does) put it on DVD- a nice little
featurette/tribute to the late Ed Parker would be good.<br><br>As
for other Speakman's films on DVD. I only know of
one, and it isn't a "Jeff Speakman" film. Jeff only
does a walk on as a security guard at the end of the
Jean Claude Van Damme 'Lionheart" flick (which was too
much like JCVD's "Bloodsport" for my taste.)<br><br>I
also think (although I'm not sure) THE EXPERT might
also be on DVD. If it is, MGM (who redesigned the
video package) would be the ones who issued it.

Hello everybody.Sorry to see that no one has
posted anything since April.Maybe we can get the ball
rolling again.I just wanted to respond to your questions.
1.The first time I have ever heard of Jeff Speakman was
his movie"The Perfect Weapon".In my opinion the
greatest action film ever.His influence on me is not so
much that he is a action film star but a martial
artist[specifically a kenpoist].I am a 1st degree black belt in the
Shaolin martial arts and I have a little training in
kenpo and kajukenbo.Unfortunately due to job
responsibilities I am not an active student at this time but
hopefully that will change very soon.When that day comes I
will be continuing my study of kenpo. 2.I was hoping
someone had started a Yahoo Club dedicated to the great
Jeff Speakman and fotunately someone has.Salute. 3.I
have noticed that there is not many members and it has
been awhile since anyone has posted anything.Have you
tried posting anything on the different Kenpo Clubs on
Yahoo letting people know of this club?With your
permission I would be glad to although I will have to ask
permission from the founders of these clubs.Hopefully I will
be allowed to.Thank you for starting this club
because it is needed.Before I go I have a question.Has
anyone heard if "The Perfect Weapon" will ever be
released on DVD?

Hi everybody, Sorry it's been a while since i've
given you an update, but my boyfriend and I are in the
process of moving and have had to deal with an unexpected
ilness, as for the pictures being put up, Our movers seem
to have "Misplaced"<br> our Scanner, so until we get
it replaced (or found) we are unable to scann
anything, I'm not sure if any of you have access to one,
but I do hate to see only one member doing all the
posting..(How ever we are VERY aprreciative to him for doing
it), We will understand if no one else does, but
please e-mail me so I know who can/can't do these
things, then I can arrange a contact list of those who
can, and we can arrange other things..<br>Anyone, hope

run this club and we didn't get to be first either,
but it's alright, If we all work together , we can

I'm afraid due to recent medical conditions We have
been a little lax re: the club, but it is members like
all of you that make our club worth it...As for these

The Consultants<br>has been axed(!)after the pilot
and only a few eps filmed,due to the producers of the
series going bankrupt (so says an article sidebar) which
is only partially Ok cause we were spared Dennis
Rodman,I suppose. Which paved the way for Jeff to do
something else.Another TV series.With a twist:<br>its part
internet (?) name of the show is "The Seekers".For more

I'm still working on my hp's which feature (in no
particular order) fave actresses,action star actors (that's
where the JS page comes in; I also got one forming on
Ray Park as well-who is a rising star in various
sci-fi films (like Star Wars:Episode 1,yeah, you know
who I mean...) and music,directors, and yers truly.
It's agenral deal, no shrines or anything (although
the one to Carrie Anne-Moss could be).<br> As for JS
pix, so far what I have up now is pretty much what you
see in the photo section -but I'll probaly get a scan
off "The Expert"video box (the one with the Orion tag
on it, not the surpringly current MGM reissuehis
film photos are not easy to come by; I'm still in
shock I even stumbled onto that still from "Perfect
Weapon" (the one with James Lew). Stay tuned...

Hello, this week end Trevorn Sherman came to Town to teach us Kenpo. Trevron is
Jeff´s assistant.<br>The class was amazing.

Was hoping to get eeryones input re: our chat
session, what times and dates are good for them. <br>As
for this page your talking about (W/ Jeff) do you
have an address for it, I'd like to go check it out...

But I haven't posted recently .Workin on the HP,
(and yes, there is a page on Jeff Speakman...) but it
is still primarily being worked on. Other pages of
mine are complete or near it. Most of them are genral
info/pic pages. Also I am part of many clubs, but I try to
give equal time when I can.<br><br>A chat,eh? Sounds
