I heard from Andy - here's a copy of the e-mail from him.

So what happened to Andy? Is he OK? Did he die? Get sick? Tired? Sick and
Tired? Does he act anymore? Well, I am fine...in fact better than fine.
Although I apologize for being out of touch for so long, I assure you I have
been using my time well. As many of you know I have not acted in a while in
anything you have seen but I have been working. After doing "Rat Race" and
the HBO pilot "Lessons Learned" I really wanted to begin to produce more of my
own material. Due to some luck, where I met an investor in Las Vegas one
Super Bowl weekend who agreed to back my vision for a production company. So
the doors of "The Lab" opened. My two partners, Jennifer Dodson and Jay R.
Ferguson (currently starring in "Surface" for NBC) and I recruited artists we
had respect for and we all began shooting. The Lab produced dozens of music
videos, commercials, short films and we just recently made our feature debut
with a film called "Swedish Auto" starring Lucas Haas.
The idea behind The Lab was to provide filmmakers with a structured
environment where they would be able to expedite the particular projects they
were
working on. In theory the concept was a success as some of our filmmakers have
gone on to make their own first feature films including one starring Nick
Cage. While the filmmakers we supported have moved up the ranks, The Lab
realized that we were not able to personally control the creative direction of
the
projects to the point that we needed to ensure success. As such, we are
newly devoted to producing projects that The Lab is passionate about such as
"Swedish Auto".
I will also be getting back to the basics of using these vehicles to provide
myself with better acting opportunities...the initial goal. First I need to
get into acting shape as sitting behind a desk has not been pretty for me.
We will also continue raising funds from private investors to support these
projects, so if anyone knows someone wanting to invest in movies they may go
to _www.thelabgroup.biz_ (
http://www.thelabgroup.biz/) for more info.
On other fronts, Jennifer and I bought a home three years ago and just got
married on December 26th 2005. The pigs are great and the dogs too! We took
a 10 week cross country camping trip this year and had a blast.
So whats new? A new production company...a new movie...a new home...and a
marriage! Other than that, not much happening.
Love and peace to all in the New Year! Don't forget random acts of
kindness, lets keep the light shining!
Cheers
