I can't find anything since I moved, and I've got about 50 boxes of books
(no exaggeration!), so it's not likely that I will find my Andersonville
book anytime soon. But mine says the same thing about being a
novelization of the film. If I remember correctly, it was written by
Robert Vaughn. No, not that Robert Vaughn, although he's a published
author too. I just remembered the name because it was such a coincidence

If the Mackinlay Kantor book is the one I'm thinking of, it's a
novelization, a work of fiction based on historical fact. Is it a really
large book? If it is, it's the one I'm thinking of.

"Andersonville" by Mackinley Kantor is a really thick book...about 760 pages of the actual story. People might wonder why I would buy a +700 paged book, but...
