Well, the Global Gathering is back...and this year we hope to be bigger and
better than ever! For those of you who are going "the what?", Global
Gathering is a fan-run event for the other Magnificent Seven fans worldwide.
It takes place over one weekend and in different cities, so that everyone
has a better chance of being able to attend. So far this year we have Seven
cities taking part, with the possibility of two more. Each city planner has
given a summery of their event, which has been placed below! More
information on the event can be found on the official site here:
http://www.geocities.com/globalgathering2003/what.htm or by contacting me
offlist! Accept for Tombstone, this event takes place over the weekend of
10-13 October. Tombstone is a week before.
The Global Gathering is an event for (and run by) the fans and is made
special because of that! We welcome any fan and promise a warm reception. In
previous years we have had fans from all over the world who represent a wide
range of lives, ages and interests! The M7 fandom is a family, so don't be
afraid...if you love the guys, we'd love to see you! So grab your horse,
saddle up and head to your nearest GG city!
Let's make the Seven ride again!
See you in October!

we'll be sure to make lots of time for videos and fun and games at the
hotel. Can't afford to spend Friday or Saturday night with us? Daytrippers
are more than welcome as we want to share the magic with all of (as Dale
calls us) "the Faithful". See you in October! True and Enid
NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND
Where the Legends of the old still ride! What's Nottingham got to do with
the Magnificent Seven I hear you cry? Well prepare to be amazed! Not only is
it just a few miles away from the American Adventure Themepark (yes, we will
be going there!) but M7's own John Watson wrote the screenplay for 'Robin
Hood Prince of Thieves', and we all know that Nottingham is where the
legendary outlaw hung out! We've got plenty of things lined up. As well as
the theme park, other possible activities include visiting Sherwood Forest,
a medieval banquet, Horse-Riding, Laserquest, the Caves of Nottingham, the
Robin Hood Adventure, the Lace museum, a fancy-dress meal out, shopping,
Bowling, a ghost tour and I'm forgetting something...oh yes...lots and lots
of drooling over the guys! We have a conference room booked at the hotel on
a 24 hour basis, so we can stay up as long as we like, watching M7,
Adventure Inc, Without A Trace and anything else our fav men have ever
appeared in. Come along and join the fun! Yvonne and HelB
GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA, USA
Come to Gettysburg the high watermark of the confederacy. We will be taking
a battlefield tour, going to the diorama, the electric map. The possibility
of a ghost tour exists, if that isn't enough there are new outlet shops and
Boyd's Bear country to explore. See where one of the most dramatic battles
of the civil war was fought. In addition to that we will be watching the
episodes and many other projects of the actors as possible. Kathi
PORTLAND, MAINE, USA
You can't get much further from the Old West than Maine, but that won't stop
us from bringing The Magnificent Seven spirit to the rocky shores of New
England. For those who want to do the tourist thing, there is Portland's
rustic Old Port, where most of the buildings date from the 19th Century,
bustling Freeport where you can shop 'til you drop at the original L.L. Bean
and other outlet stores, miles of some of the most scenic shoreline on the
planet, and numerous museums and historic residences. We'll have a video
marathon and plenty of good conversation and an abundant supply of the basic
food groups (soda, chips, cookies and chocolate). Nancy and Joy
OMAHA / COUNCIL BLUFFS, NEBRASKA
Spend a weekend in the historic Midwest and see what Omaha and Council
Bluffs have to offer. Possible points of interest are Victorian homes, a
rebuilt fort from the Lewis and Clark expedition, nationally known Henry
Dorley Zoo with the all new Desert Dome and an Imax theatre, and the
historic Old Market. And we may actually catch a pow wow! Plus don't
forget the viewing!!! All the Magnificent Seven episodes you could possibly
want to see as well as other works staring our favorite seven men! Lyn

TUCSON / TOMBSTONE, ARIZONA
Where the Old West still lives ... and people still make movies about it!
For this unique Arizona location activities include a day trip to the
historic town of Tombstone - visit the site of the OK Corral, Boot Hill, the
Birdcage Theater (one of the top ten haunted sites in the US!), ride in a
covered wagon, watch shootouts in the streets, with a possible side trip to
see the Rattlesnake Arts for those interested (a more strange place you
would be hard pressed to find). Some additional activities will include a
trip to Old Tucson Studios (filming location of any number of Westerns,
including portions of the movie Tombstone, and the tv series High
Chapparel), the Arizona Natural History Museum and (contingent upon
shooting schedules) a tour of the remote film site of Mescal, home of The
Young Riders, The Quick and the Dead and THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN PILOT! Come
walk where it all began! Please note - due to scheduling constraints this GG
location will be running the weekend prior to the official GG dates. Lisa &
