i know what you mean my stepfather was an alcoholic and an abusive ass
and my mom drove my real father from my life.i have since disowned
both of them over all the bullshit they put me and my brother through.
i've done my best to learn from their mistakes. ie like marrying for
love not finaical stability. it takes courage to face down the
illusions we have from our youth. thanks for sharing and i think luke
got the best of both sides plus he had decent foster parents
