She grew up 2 miles from me. We got about 30 mph winds and a little
rain. Nothing bad. The worst thing here is the amount of people from
N.O. that headed west before and now after the hurricane. They have
nothing to go back to. I don't know how long they will be here. The 3
hotels in the area are full, as well as every hotel in the state. They
are even filling up the hotels in texas!
I hear that baton rouge has doubled in size.
A few branches here were knocked down, but Andrew was 100 times
worse....for us, at least.
