yes, there was a billboard congratulating her for winning Miss USA
that was paid for by the B.B. Crawfish Festival Association. If you
remember, after she won and visited all the talk shows, she'd claim
to be from "Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. Crawfish Capital of the World."
I'm thinking that she made a good bit of money by promoting the
festival. There was also a parade with Ali as the main attraction.
This attracted quite a bit of people. More than I thought were in
the area! It almost looked like Mardi Gras. It was very impressive.
Considering that she pissed off so many people from Cecilia, where
she went to school, I was impressed with the turnout. (Cecilia and
Breaux Bridge get along in sports like the Yankees and Red Sox).
As far as I see it, even though she said on national tv that she's
from "Breaux Bridge", she'll always be a Bulldog. That's why she was
on Cecilia's sideline when her sister was cheering for B.B. and we
were whipping their butts in the only playoff game played between
the 2 teams (10-6)
