The sitcom's sophomore season finds Shelly (Eve) and a noncommittal
J.T. (Jason George) broken up. (Awwww.) "The first third of the
season is dealing with the aftermath of this relationship falling
apart," says exec producer Meg DeLoatch. "Who gets custody of the
friends?" Rita (Ali Landry), after too many splurges, will find
herself evicted and bunking first with Janie (Natalie Desselle-
Reid), then with J.T. and Brian Hooks' Nick (hmmmmmm). As for her
love triangle with Nick and Donovan (Sean Maguire), DeLoatch
promises it will "smolder beneath the surface." (Interrresssting...)
Meanwhile the newly single Shelly will dip into self-help books, try
to sleep with J.T. string-free (sexy!), and ultimately date around.
(Noooooooo!) Then get back with J.T., right? "Eventually they will
find their way back to each other," DeLoatch says. (Yeahhhh!) (Sept.
