I've heard through the industry that Alyson did not make very much
money at all from Big Comfy Couch. She was so young, and decided to
handle the contract negotiations herself. Well the producers were
only too happy to see that, and they signed her. Alyson gets no money
from the marketing, toy and book spin-offs etc. She gets no money
from all the re-runs, and was paid very little for the show to begin
with. Her biggest role was a financial flop for her, but a bonanza
for her bosses.

She has made far more money from appearances than she ever had from
actually acting in the show. That is why she works in games and
stuff. She's typecast as a lot of childrens program actors are, and
she still needs to earn money.

She is married with a baby and she sings in Karaoke bars in Toronto
with her friends. I've heard she is a real sweetheart and a beautiful
person.

She can curl up n get comfy on my couch anytime
