Hola Patty!

I'm so glad we all loved "King Kong". It got 4 Oscar nominations, including Art Direction and Visual Effects, though I really wanted to see Naomi  and PJ up there. Oh well. My other favorite movie of the year, "A History of Violence" didn't get much love either :(

That said, there are a lot of Europeans and Latin Americans nommed which is awesome.

I will definitely have to read "The lovely bones". If PJ is doing the movie adaptation I bet it will be awesome :)

Also, cool year for Dominic Monaghan (LOST) and Viggo (VIOLENCE). I can't wait to see Cate Blanchett coming back to the movies next year, the goddess. She has SIX films coming, yay!
