Coming this December will be a FREE sneak peek on the "big screen" in
South Bend, Indiana of clips from and interviews for the long-awaited
"The Dork of the Rings", coming out in the summer of 2006.
It all takes place Saturday, December 10th, at Indiana University of
South Bend in Wiekamp Hall, lecture room 1001. (For more information
on the area and a MAP, please go to the University's website -
www.iusb.edu)
Meet the cast and crew of the film and watch the movie trailer, the
documentary "The Making of Muddle-Earth", and new footage of our
esteemed co-director Jack Peterson being pummled by hordes of
fanboys-and-girls at recent conventions - PLUS, new and improved
computer enhanced scenes from the film, and much MUCH more!
An hour-long DVD of the night's events will be available there and on
the DotR website (say it with me - www.dorkoftherings.com), starting
December 10th. But come on! Nothing beats getting together with your
closest friends, dressing up in pointy ears and capes, brandishing
swords and bows, and laughing until you've harmed yourself at
someone's big screen debute... unless it's THIS event!
(We will also hopefully have new Dork T-Shirts for sale by then.)
If you'd like to go ahead and reserve your DVD, T-Shirt, or hey, BOTH,
(costs for DVD's will be around $7, the shirts between $10 and $20,
depending on design and color) just email our Sales Girl Tara at
duketrk@..., and let her know. T-Shirt sizes will probably be
one size fits all. (subject heading:Dorks Gone Wild Stuff)
This is a great opportunity to see how the movie looks and get
everyone psyched for The One Ring Celebration, which we'll be guests
at in January in Pasedena.
All the best,
Tim Richardson,
The Dork-rector
