Hmmm...
while I'm obviously pro-fundraisers, I think at the moment there are
too many happening.
I mean... we can encourage people to donate all the time, but whoever
wanted to donate for their wedding already has, probably.
Lots of people are organizing fundraisers, not only for David but
"for" other ators too, and a lot of us are fans of the same actors.
(There's some peole fundraising for SeaShepherd for RDA, for example.
And the birthday auction for David.) And let's face it... there's only
that much money someone will donate (money doesn't grow on trees!).
So my suggestion is that we give it a rest, for now. As I said, we can
encourage donations to DWB all the time, and if someone should mention
"I want to send something to David" (or to any actor, for that
matter), we should jump in promptly and suggest charity instead. But
hold on before organizing another fundraiser. That's just my two cents...
Still, if someone still wants to go ahead, I'll try to lend any ideas
I might have to help as much as possible.
