I've written a response to Stephanie Zacharek's New York Times review of
Richard Brody's Godard book, in which she mostly took the opportunity to
dismiss Godard's late films out of hand, take swipes at his credibility, and
parrot Brody's most questionable assertions about the filmmaker's politics
