Have any of you a fresh insight into the status of the industry?
We hear that producers can no longer discount distributor pre-sales contracts at
the banks,
so that's putting a serious dent into the indie market.
The studios are suffering from a lack of outside investors with the hedge funds
etc. which
were investing in big budget movies last year, playing it safe.
On top of this a lot of projects are in a holding pattern because of the
possibility of a strike.
Anyone making movies out there? Selling scripts?
