Welcome to WriteMovies:

Dear Writer,

We know that there are people out there just like you, with great scripts
waiting to be
discovered, but unsure of the next step. That's where we come in! Founded in
1999,
Writemovies.com is the first international website that serves as a meeting
place for
filmmaking and writing talent such as yourself.

But we don't stop there. Whether it's a complete re-write or polish to simple
formatting
tips and bouncing around ideas, we offer consulting for a second (or maybe
third!) opinion
with seasoned professionals such as Alex Ross who discovered Academy Award
nominee
Andrew Niccol (The Truman Show, Lord of War) among others. Join scribes like the
outstandingly talented Iris Yamashita (Letters from Iwo Jima),a contest finalist
and
consulting client, to make your script the best it can possibly be before
proving yourself to
the world at large. You'll also find a lot of free advice and tips from our
Writer's
Community here: http://writemovies.com/writers_community.html

Writemovies.com is the best place to get started on your long, successful career
as a
writer, and we love hearing from all our clients, past and present with updates
on how well
things are going for them. With access to over 800 production companies and
studios in
the US and Europe, not to mention literary agencies, (the top three contest
projects are
submitted to the them for free) we would love to be the stepping stone that
launches a
rewarding career for you. Every writer is important to us.

Remember, we succeed when you succeed.

Wishing you the best life can offer,

The WriteMovies Team
Alex, Annette, Lisa, Julia, Dianne, and Zack

The 20th WriteMovies and TalentScout Management International Writing Contest
sponsored by Final Draft can be found here:
http://www.writemovies.com/contests_text.htm

Deadline Dec. 17th

Only 1000 entries will be accepted. Dont miss the boat, once the magic number
has
been reached we close the contest.

Out of close to three hundred "contest sites," WriteMovies is one of only a
handful
that has produced movies from winning projects.

"The List", was written by WriteMovies winner Marcus Folmar. In addition, former
winner Jon Rosten has parlayed his success in the contest into getting his
project,"
Valley of Angels" produced. Hundreds of others have had their scripts optioned
and
bought, and have found representation.

Several novels have also been published and plays produced.

Production companies, studios and agencies contact us all the time about our
winners. We
are in touch with all of the studios as well as over 800 production companies in
the US,
France & Germany, ALL hungry for quality material. We are highly pro-active not
only for
our writers to find work but also with regards to writers' rights.

The founder of the company discovered Andrew Niccol who wrote & produced "The
Truman Show" amongst others.

We succeed when you succeed.
