In my opinon, it depends of your goal and field.
On my side, in spite of lack of luck with the publishers's world, I'll
don't go trhough something like Lulu after having searched a long time
(several years) for the traditional publisher who will match my
manuscripts. But, I'm writing novels, not scripts, even if I've
participated to the WM Contest on Summer 2005 (finalist).
Nevertheless, in the literature domain, I think it's (lulu) a good idea
for things like poetry. I'm knowing two persons, writing in this field,
who are using Lulu ; one with which I'm in close communication. If
you're interested to communicate with her (and if she agrees), just
tell me using the email on my site (http://eric-lequien-esposti.com/ or
http://ffh-lab.com/~eln/index.html if it fails ; some problem these
days) and I'll redirect your address toward her.
Have a good day
Eric
