Welcome to the 21st Century. This is now common not only in the script
writing field, but in the field of writing in general. Use to be the day
when not only would you get phone calls returned, but you would also get a
rejection noticed signed by a real person, and often even a real letter with
suggestions and comments. No longer. I suspect that it is partially on
account of the new generation of recent college grad "reader".
