Yes, we are that low... especially if there are glaring spelling
mistakes in the script.

Doesn't the writer deserve to hear something? Are we so low on the
Todem Poll that producers don't even have to return our calls even
after they called us first?

It's part of selling and it's up to the writer or agent -- follow up, follow up, follow up. If you never hear back from them, that may be the kindest "no"...
