Dear all,
for almost two years I have worked on my very first big project: a
screenplay based on the book ‚The Silmarillion` by J.R.R.
Tolkien.
Now that it is done, translated from German into English and rewritten
in English I found a Publishing Director of HarperCollins who gives me
the opportunity to submit my script to the J.R.R. Tolkien Estate
Limited for consideration and - unlikely but worth a try - the
permission for me to enter my screenplay into the WriteMovies.com
2005 contest.
My main concern right now - besides rechecking the script - is of
more formal interests: What does the front page of the script have to
look like as well as the lines of head and footer of every single
page. Would it be correct to put on the front page
‚copyright©myname2004 (all rights reserved subject to the
rights of J.R.R. Tolkien Estate Limited)`?
I have worked for a quite long time on this script, completely aware
of how stupid this attempt must appear, yet now I am finally getting
real nervous. So I would very much appreciate your advice.
Warm regards from Hamburg
Yours Katja
