I've seen girls in the old comics that I thought looked like Betty Grable,
although it was more obvious that some of the artists were drawing Bettie Page.
One of the comic books had a charachter called "Betty Babble" that sounded like
it was supposed to be Betty Grable, but I don't remember where that was at.
Betty in Archie comics could have been named after Betty Grable, they said that
Veronica was named after Veronica Lake. - the living Landis fan
