In the same album. Since this is actualy a prequel rather than a
sequel, I moved the later photos up before the ones that were in the
album already. This does include some maps previously from another
group and several other associated characters from that time period
(it mentions the Cindy team and others) and this represents the early
part of that 3000 to 4000 AD period. The end part of that sequence
has more to do with CHRON's main base and the 3 Kims. At this point
in the stories, the 4 Jills are in the Saharan area (then much
wetter) which is ruled by Princess Sahara (Scheherezade=Sarah
Brightman) and this setup is alluded to in other groups as well.
Carole Landis herself is more important in the European section,
corresponding to the Carolingian period of the Middle Ages with some
remnant-technological additions. The 4000 AD segment tends to have
gear and armor which looks as if it had been designed by Jack Kirby.
Best Wishes, Dale D.
PS, The Mini-Hef character is actually supposed to BE Ray Palmer and
he uses the spurious front of Hugh Hefner to cover his
diversification in publishing ventures (with an out-of-work actor
hired to appear as him at public appearances). Ray Palmer was a
hunchbacked dwarf: and he published Richard Shaver stories about
Deroes, which were a bunch of malicious underground dwarfs. In the
Kata-K group, he is represented by the character called Gecko: his
Commedia dell'Arte character is Punchinello/Punch. Michael Moorcock
wrote the original Castle Brass stories and also designed his
characters to correspond to Commedia dell'Arte characters)
